If that's garbage, you must watch the 95 Bulls on repeat and nothing else.

Who won the game?

The Blazers. Someone had to, and it was a damn good matchup.

Keep the damn hyperbole for the club when you're trying to pretend you're packing something worth a girl's time.

Do you get a medal for coming in at second place in a two man race where you're from?

Refs were brutal down the stretch. We get denied the clear path while Portland can get one. Talk about BS, then that Wes Matthews flop on Amir pissed me the **** off. Masai needs to send the tape to the league offense. We were robbed this game.

i am way more concerned about typical casey blunders rather than the refs.

I actually wanted JJ in there.

But please understand why Casey had Vaz/Lou in the game. He was playing Lowry as SG and running everything through him. You need another ball handler out there. That is why he didn't have JJ, he needed another point guard.

I would have had JJ in there, and tried to post up. Much better play than Lowry ISO. Defensively JJ is so undisciplined. He gets lots off the ball and allowed couple of 3s in the 4th.

Refs were fair. We got some ref luck too.

Lowry was out of gas on the third game in four nights. That's why GV had to be in there, to bring the ball up and give Lowry a break. But I do blame Casey's rotations. Hansbro was left in there far too long. Val needed to play the OT. It was one of his best games, and our outside shot wasn't falling at all.

At the beginning of OT, the Portland commentators were saying that the Raptor strategy would probably be to get the ball into Jonas. And they sounded shocked when they noted he wasn't coming out for the OT. I'm not a Casey hater, but that was stupid.

He made a few huge shots late. While he can be streaky he is probably our best spot up shooter. Lou is great at creating his own shot but he is not good at getting in position for good shots.

I honestly think Casey hit the panic button too early when the game was tied with 3 mins in the 4th. Instead of putting JJ in to keep the defensive intensity he opted for more offense with Lou, when it was our starters that gave us the lead for the majority of the game until the end when the rotations were all mixed up and had some starters mixed with some bench players.

I also think we only ran one post up play for JV that whole 4th quarter then giving up on him when he didn't deliver on it. Why can't we finish games off with our starters, Casey usually opts for more offensive firepower from our wings at the end of games.
I like you.

Blazers won't go far in the playoffs.

They rely too much on the 3.

Their first 6 shot attempts in OT were all 3's lol.

They remind me of the 06/07 Raps

My issue is that the refs let the physical play and quick pace fly throughout the first three and a half quarters, then switched to a very tight whistle the last six minutes of the game and all through OT. If the game is being called one way, at least be consistent. Suddenly the Raps were called for everything when their physical style had been successful all game, completely shifted the momentum.

Clear path fouls were both blown.

Casey should've gone back to JJ who was having a great game over Vas and Lou who were both ice cold. Otherwise, tough loss to take. I think if the pace had stayed consistent, Raps get this in regulation. Wish we had this one back but that's not how this works. Need to regroup for Friday.

Why didn't we run the Lowry-Ross-JJ-Amir-JV line. That was the line that kept them down, what was the **** point of going to GV or Lou? We were in the game with our D and interior scoring, why rely on a bunch of shooters in the 4th? Casey is just plain stupid sometimes.

Raps played hard, but shot poorly from 3 and didn't get to the line enough. Patman -- did he even have an attempt from 3? You lose these games sometimes, but the Raps will win their share too. Probably the most entertaining game of the year for me.

And wish you folks would stop whining and blaming the refs. You sound like children. The refs called a fair game. They technically made the right call on the clear path violation, but I think the clear path rule in general requires more referee discretion. Even though TRoss was trailing Batum, he had good position and seemed to just be lining up a good defensive angle on Batum.

If Val had his FTs this game we would have won. He should have had at least 3 trips to the line (6 FTA) and his tech probably wouldn't have happened. That would make it a 7 point disparity between us and that's not even counting the crappy calls put out against Lowry. Do the refs seriously not even respect heart and hard play? It really seems like the league has a f%^&ing agenda against some teams.

We got a good amount of calls too and JV is not going to get calls if he is positioned poorly and flails his arms all the time. I'm one of his biggest supporters and I realize he is not going to get calls unless he just plays gritty, keeps his ground, and doesnt look to the refs all the time. I love Lowry too and I respect that he is our MVP but he also flops quite a bit. Don't let me get started on Amir's moving screens either, he is gaining league-wide attention for those and you better believe the refs are paying real close attention to him and opposing teams know whats coming to sell it further. Amir is the heart of our squad but he really does do those little things off the ball that can make or break our game. I don't remember who we were playing but it was the final moments of a tight game and Amir blatantly pulled on a players arm to free up space and was called for the foul...I don't know, maybe he doesn't think the refs are going to catch him.

Whatever. I'm tired and it was a great game and Portland is a great team. I don't understand the hate from the other posters saying all they do is shoot 3s yet they still beat us and LA was having his night inside. Let's get them next time Raps!

I love how they didn't call fouls all game and let everything go until we started to pull away a bit and they called 3 soft fouls on Amir and 2 on Hans, pathetic.

Disgusting display by these refs.

Not saying that the clear path was the SOLE reason we lost this game. We lost cause of our offence in the 4th. But that clear path was complete bull and I hope the nba realizes that.

Who am I kidding, of course they won't recognize it. We're the Raptors :banghead:

Lowry was playing hero ball again. Your J isn't falling, give it up. We need to stop relying on jumpers in the clutch. This is what is going to kill us in the playoffs

Only reason they started relying on Js is because lowry drove into the paint and every time he would get hacked and the refs wouldn't call ****.

Examples of situations where you aren't getting those calls, ever:
- NBA Playoffs
- NBA regular season 4th quarters
- NBA games in general
- NBDL games
- College and high school games
- Rucker park games
- Pickup basketball games at the local gym

Stop blaming the refs for not calling a foul when a 6' guy goes right at a 6'10'' guy and gets flat out blocked.

That was one instance. There was a ton of contact on every drive by lowry and everyone else. If you keep getting hacked, you gotta start taking jump shots and the raps just didn't knock em down today. I wonder if they would call that push by kaman on JV in the playoffs?
