The difference in accountability between perimeter players and bigs is a HUGE concern of mine.
Doesn't matter what the perimeter guys do, they'll get opportunities. But a few mistakes and Jonas gets ignored or gets benched. It's really ridiculous, and other teams' commentators are starting to catch on and wonder what the hell is happening. Cavs/Bulls/Blazers commentating crews have all brought it up.
I don't mind if JV is playing like **** and gets benched. That's 100% warranted. It's the fact that other players can play like ****, and don't see ANY consequences. Why? I can't see any reason aside from personal trust and habit. It's this sort of lack of adaptability that loses close games, when strategy and lineups need to be on point to maximize effectiveness.
