Im starting to think Cleveland and phx could help each other in a trade. Lebron is undermining his coach, love is not playing up to par, and basically there is dysfunction in Cleveland. I'm thinking both love and the Cleveland organziation would like a mutual separation.

Something like bledsoe, plumlee, and a throw in for love. Lebron gets his little Buddy and he will be happy. Phx gets what they need.

There's no way SAC trades Cousins, and if they did, we really don't have the sort of pieces they'd want.

It would need to be something like Dragic, MIN pick, LAL pick, Len...and filler.

Yep, as I mentioned in the pervious thread, it would be something similar to that type of deal:

Remember though, we are "retooling/rebuilding" as well, so why would we give up our best player, plus a player with great promise for Cousins. And before anyone says we have to give to get, I totally understand that, but we have a deep enough of a bench that a Green, Len, and our 1st, should be enough. I mean, if we get Cousins, there won't be enough minutes for both, TBH. Would Cousins be worth trading Len for? I assume so, and the Kings are not likely to trade Cousins without getting Len back in return, right? So let Len be the centerpiece, and let Green, and if needed, Dragic be the supporting pieces, vice EB and the LAL 1st be the centerpiece. That would give them, potentially:

Dragic
McLemore
Gay
Thompson
Len

Not bad, actually, and us?

IT/Ennis
EB/Goodwin
PJ/Warren
Kieff/Mook
Cousins/Plumlee

Len and Boogie would not work together on this roster, so yeah, Len would have to go in a deal for Boogie, as no way SAC makes a deal to trade Boogie without a viable replacement, and IMO, Len would be a good enough replacement, especially with Dragic and a couple of picks. cousins is one of the few Centers I'd trade Len for...Drummond being the other, as they are young enough to build around and be here for 8-10 years at least.

The only way sac trades cousins is if cousins demands a trade and openly says he isn't resigning.

I think Suns should pair Bledsoe and Cousins... And build around them.

I'd keep Len if I can... Cousins can play some PF, he is a taller Z-Bo who can get some blocks.

Anyone on this team is up for grabs if Cousins demands a trade.
He's that good

Depends on the fillers. The point of acquiring Cousins would be to pair him with other great players to make a contender. If you trade Dragic or Bledoe our 3rd best player is still Markieff and that's not good enough.

Ideally you want Cousins-Dragic-Bledsoe-Markieff together. If that means all of the assets like Warren, Ennis, Len and all our picks then so be it. If we could keep one of those cheap assets and substitute them with IT or Green then even better.

This is freakin' impossible. The idea right here is to GET OUR STAR.
That's why McD is accumulating this much of assets... he'll have no problem in send them all for a complete stud.

I'm sorry but I have to post this just based on the headline:

@GoranDragicNews: Houston Rockets news: Goran Dragic could be coming home http://t.co/9daKEqyAND

Lol, so the team that drafted goran and where he spend most of his career isn't more "home?!"

On a side note if I see another trade mentioned from Houston fans regarding Jones, Isaiah Canaan, Clint Capela, Dorsey, or Nick Johnson I'm gonna freak out. We don't want your trash rockets fans!

I think Houston gets worse adding Josh Smith. He doesn't create enough spacing for Dwight, and he just simply isn't the player he used to be.

You can pretty much ditch the 2 PG lineup with Cousins out there. I'ld rather have a 3+D guy at SG alongside Dragic or Bledsoe at PG. A more traditional lineup.

Build around Dragic OR Bled. Len and Cousins.

Those accumulated assets are exactly what I'm saying we should deal. Not the big guns.

Miami Heat fan coming in peace interested in seeing what you Suns fans think about this deal. I originally posted on Heat board

Miami deals

SF Luol Deng
PF Shawne Williams
PG Norris Cole

For

PG Isaiah Thomas
SG/SF P.J. Tucker.

This deal makes sense for both sides on so many levels. For Phoenix it gives there starting lineup a huge boost at SF. It also gives a very young team on the cusp of the playoffs in the very competitive West that true vet and defensive stopper as they have been lacking. Cole needs a fresh start and Phoenix style of play may suit him well. He upgrades them defensively off the bench and will be asked to play sparingly which is a role he thrived in prior to this year. Williams gives them a stretch 4 off the bench that they love to utilize in there system. And in the end they all come in with friendly contracts while getting Thomas and Tucker longer term deals off the books to allow them to resign Dragic and Deng.

As for the Heat, we finally end the disaster PG rotation known as Colemers. Thomas would give this team there best PG since Tim Hardaway. He is undersized and a liability on D but he can shoot and score with the best of them. That is what this team desperately needs. Now that we have our twin towers power rotation going those defensive liabilities can be masked. Getting back P.J. Tucker in the deal gives us a physical SG/SF to bring off the bench behind Wade and even fill in at SF when needed. This deal also frees up plenty of minutes for James Ennis behind Danny Granger with Tucker also involved in that rotation. The 3 for 2 deal also frees up the roster spot we need to use our DPE for Blatche.

Rosters

C Chris Anderson-Hassan Whiteside-Justin Hamilton.
PF Chris Bosh-Udonis Haslem-DPE slot
SF Danny Granger-James Ennis.
SG D Wade-P.J Tucker-Andre Dawkins.
PG Isaiah Thomas-Mario Chalmers-Shabazz Napier

Phoenix.

C Alex Len-Miles Plumlee
PF Markieff Morris-Shawne Williams
SF Luol Deng-Marcus Morris
SG Eric Bledsoe-Gerald Green
PG Goran Dragic-Norris Cole-Tyler Ennis

^Wow, that actually seems like a fair trade for both teams. I would definitely do it.
