Bruno Caboclo Recalled By Raptors From D-League

Bruno Caboclo has been recalled by the Toronto Raptors from the D-League.

Caboclo played just three games for the Mad Ants this season, where he averaged 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in his 13 minutes of action.

I don't feels you bruh... Seriously tho, his English ain't well (communication from coach sand other players) and the whole D League thing ended up being a mess for him, you'd understand that if you watched the games. So don't be all "he's a bust" just yet... Raptors knew he was going to take time to develop, he has potential, but it was never "he gunna come in the league and dominate right away"

He went from easily the best player on the floor in the first half of his first game to just awful thereafter. That's a young, extremely inexperienced player for you.

I direct a hearty LOL to anyone declaring him a bust at this stage. He's 19, has an ideal NBA body, and reportedly an excellent work ethic. Let's see where he is in a couple years.

Scott Burrel, BJ Tyler, Jason Caffey, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Paul Grant, Roshawn Mcleod, Dion Glover, Craig Claxton, Zach Randolph, Kareem Rush, Dahntey Jones, Jameer Nelson, Julius Hodge, Renaldo Balkman, Jason Smith, Alex Ajinca, Eric Maynor, James Anderson, Donatas Montiejunas, Even Fournier, Tony Snell

WOW... what amazing players in the past 20 drafts to be taken with the 20th overall selection!! Bruno certainly has a lot of ground to make up to catch the likes of Dahntey Jones & Dion Glover!! (Big Z, Randolph & Jameer ended up becoming all-stars sure, but thats 15% & they don't play SG/SF). How many of those guys even played 4 full seasons?

I actually bet he'll be better than 80% of those players one day.

Bruno doesnt play SG/SF either.. just sayin'.

whatever bruno turns out to be, he's not a bust.. by the 20th pick, expectations of staying in the league is pretty low.. and the raptors reached for him too, he was going to be a second rounder if tyler ennis was still on the board.. and no one would be calling him a bust if the spurs drafted him because everyone has the patience for spurs to develop players but all other players in any other system has to dominate right away.. a bust would be kwame brown or olawakandi or milicic. taken at the top to do great things but ends up doing nothing.
