Why is Ed out there when you need 3 over Wayne?

Who sets the pick for Kobe to get an open look?

We had two chances to win/tie after that point. The worst thing would be to not have a timeout left to advance the ball.
The problem is the fact that the team wasn't aware of that strategy beforehand.

Maybe the timeout situation? Didn't want to lengthen the game too much? IDK....
Clock was damn near even ... and ... Lin was doing nothing. Okay if y6oure going to waste time, but at least try to steal the ball over looking

Probably knows.... he might get traded in the next few weeks... I also wouldn't be surprised if he pulls a Gasol and suffers some sort of last minute injury to make a trade harder to get done.....
at the very least... Lin is doing a good job raising his trade value... and he still has that large expiring deal that will make teams interested.

Lin is not going to accept that, he wants to be a starter or at least a player that gets 30 mpg and is in at the end closing games. He will also want to make around 8-9 mill a year probably but would take less if he liked the team. He likes LA and the Lakers, I don't think he loves the coach or thinks the system is good for him long-term. So, I don't see him staying beyond the season.

If it took a first round pick to get rid of a contract there's a very good chance you won't be getting that contract again in free agency. Nothing wrong with trying though. He could be starting at a place like Detroit if Jennings screws up his chance this season. Would also be a good fit in Milwaukee but not sure if he's Kidd's idea of a PG.

I just dont see any team paying Lin that type of money. He's not an NBA starting PG on a contending team IMO
