Long before Galatasaray is relevant in world football at all.

What did you guys win past 2 years then?

Of course you have rights to answer my posts but at least make some sense, no? :o

His agent states that it was almost done last summer but didn't work out because the president of his club died etc.

What can the folks who follow Süper Lig tell me about him? Did he improve over time?

I mean, we've been linked to him for almost two years or so and he was touted as one of the biggest talents there.

He was a wonderkid when he first made impact. However, he has been going backwards past two years after linking with top clubs in Europe. I feel like he is acting like "I am one the best, no need to work anymore'

The FA Cup and the Community Shield (more, by the way, than Chelsea, whom you seem to blow your load over every chance you get).

ah man , here we go again lol. Tbf chelsea won the EL which is bigger than the fa cup. But you guys need to dodge massimo's jokes when he brings up arsenal lmao. I've learned to not get caught up in a back and forth with him anymore lol

Arsenal is supposed to be interested in our goalkeeper Loris Karius. Can't blame Arsene after yesterdays performance from Szczęsny again lol.

Joshua Kimmich(U-19 European champion last summer) to Bayern Munich this summer.

The midfielder's currently playing at RB Leipzig but Stuttgart has an option to buy him back and will make use of it. Once that's done they'll sell him to Bayern.

The transfer will look like this:
RB Leipzig receives: €750,000(from VFB Stuttgart)
VFB Stuttgart receives: €7,000,000(from Bayern Munich)
Bayern Munich receives: Joshua Kimmich

BTW: Lukas Podolski's on his way to Milan for a medical with Inter.
It is said to be a loan with an option to buy.

It has been said that Benfica wants him for a while. Not much stuff about Arsenal or anyone else in German media.

I rate him very high. He is already the best keeper I've ever seen in a Mainz 05 jersey and he will do nothing but improve in the next few years. Arsenal might be a step too high for him right now, though.
Two more years at Mainz and then go to a top club would be great for him. Unfortunately I think our manager once again blew the opportunity to resign one of our top talents and cash in double digit millions for him.

Scored 3 goals each in the league and cup last season, and that is an incredible achievement considering he was just 16-17 at the time.(21 is a youngster by Turkish football standards) Incredible potential but hasn't really shown anything this season. I don't remember a prospect leaving our league at such a young age in like 10 years(they rarely leave anyway, Salih Uçan an exception at age 20). Bursa had Sercan Yıldırım and we had Batuhan Karadeniz-Muhammed Demirci who European teams were reportedly interested in. None left, they couldn't take the next step forward and just became rotation players at mid level clubs.

Thanks man.
Like I've said, we're said to be interested for quite some while now and turkish media's reporting that he'll transfer to us for €2 M either during this or the next transfer window.

I can tell you that unless a major change happens in the foreign player rule in Süper Lig which is currently being talked about right now, he's not going anywhere for 2 million Euros. Turkish teams will offer more than that easily because of his potential and nationality.

I doubt that we'd pay more.
With him you've got to keep in mind that we're after him for quite some time and that everything was already agreed upon last summer, before their president died.
Anyways, we shall see. ;)

They've been talking about Enzo Perez -> Valencia since the summer but I didn't know he'd made the move. They're shaping up quite nicely now.

Chelsea just bought a 13 year old French keeper for 500k. His father being a Chelsea fan apparently played a big role, but I suspect the reported 1M paid to him was more important. Crazy money.
