Smith might help the Rockets win it all.

Corey Brewer was an instant good fit. He's another Ariza , hitting threes, rebounding, and playing the kind of defense on the perimeter that the Wizards lack.

Now they add a stud PF. This is going to be like my list above. Bad rep player makes good team great.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Should have put the Tarik Black waiver in this thread - regardless - can we please grab him?

Edit: then again, it may serve to just clog the key more for John.

I would think Cleveland would be very interested as well...

Josh Smith definitely looked like a fish out of water yesterday. There was one stretch where I thought he cost Houston the game.

Not seeing the love for Black - He wasn't even particularly good as a 22 year old senior last season. And the Wiz roster is already filled at 15. They'd have to cut someone to sign him.

Detroit has 4 straight double digit wins without Smith.

Meanwhile Houston is 3-3 with Smith. If anything it seems like Smith is actually playing worse with Houston, at least so far. It will be interesting to see if they can get him to stop shooting jumpers.

Yeah, that doesn't make any sense - the Bucks are definitely not as good as us. We should be 15th at least.

That's wrong. Wizards have beat them two, three times.

That said the young teams are improving. They could be playing much better than when Washington beat them.

Boy have I been very, very, very wrong.

I thought Smith might make Houston more legit of a title contender.

It looks like it's going to be 4 straight for the Pistons - beating a lost Sacramento team who can't shoot straight. Gay, Cousins and McLemore are a combined 12 of 43, so far. Sac is a bizarre franchise.

At this rate, they could very well make the playoffs...

Toronto coming back to earth.. they don't have any type of defensive identity, that will hurt them in the playoffs.

Say they face Cleveland first round and try to outscore them... good luck with that, lol.

Yes. IND and DET can still make the playoffs.

TOR is at the end of a 6 game road trip. 5 of which were West coast. They get the next 5 at home. The 3rd is against DET which should be interesting. Then two games later they get ATL.

Its going to be a dog fight to top 4. I expect different team to shuffle around.

If we win the next 3, the top 4 in the East will be tightly grouped.

Houston after adding Smith

Assigned to the bench again. See how he plays there.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
