Yea I thought early in the year that they really got back to their though and fundamental defense but as the year goes on it seems to not be the case, most definitely and offensive driven team, much like past year. Although I'm still confident we can win games that are ugly defensive grinding games.

Defense is much better than last year. There have been three games where an opponents that have scored more than one point per possession - Georgetown, Duke, and now PSU.

They're 18th in the country in adjusted defense. That'll do.

Pretty awesome turnout down at Northwestern for the game tonight

Frank fouls the opposing center for an and-1, comes back on offense and hits his own and-1. Slightly less celebrating from Frank..Olah acted like he won the lottery.

That might've been the biggest heat check I've ever seen.

Sucks that Frank's 2nd foul, where he seemed to get all ball, has derailed his triple double quest. 5/6/5 at half..it'd be a sick accomplishment for ESPN to eat up and further improve his Wooden Award stock.

Laugh if you will but Nigels new sf game reminds me of Washington wizards Jordan once he lost all his athleticism and just looked to post a guy up 12 feet from the rim.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

The announcer compared him to James Worthy when he went up and under the PF. He's really developed an impressive offensive repertoire.

This has been extended garbage time basketball in the second half.

What in the ****? If that's possible I would never consider contacts. Granted I never would anyways because I'm not touching my **** eye to get it in. Give me the ugliest, dorkiest glasses you can find and I'd still choose them over contacts.

Yeah you can have a contact slide off to the back/side of your eye and it is painful. I wore contacts for about a month maybe 10 years ago, after a month and I would still flinch/inflict pain putting them in and my eyes never got used to them, went back to glasses and never looked back. Have been wearing glasses for almost 20 years now, no regrets there, will never wear contacts again.

I got colored lenses for Halloween a few years ago. It took me hours to figure out how to get them in. My eye closes when a finger is about to go it. I hope I never go blind because that was unbearable.

Who’s That Guy? Maryland Freshman Phenom Melo Trimble!

So, why should you know him? Because he’s the best player on the best team in the Big Ten, and knowing about him will be highly valuable for bracketology purposes.

I've been wearing contacts nearly every day for 14 years now, and I don't even notice them. It's a pain in the ass if I rub my eye and it folds up or something, and skews my vision but thats very rare. Wouldn't say it's painful at all.
