I don't know what the framework of the trade is but it would suck if we couldn't land Reggie. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Who is OKC letting go if they're getting Waiters?

They're letting go of Reggie apparently.

Waiters bring back Shump, JR, and Reggie??? That don't sound right.

Not sure what the value of getting Reggie Jackson was. Upgrade in the short term but he's a free agent. I don't see him as the type of guy we would use our cap space on. We are wiping the slate here.

Hmmmmm. Losing JR is a big loss.

No it isn't.

I could see both guys doing well there actually. But if not, then Phil has poisoned the well in C Land and this will be the trade that gets the Knicks LeBron by JR and Shump chasing Bron out of Cleveland and right into his arms.

So we should be able to clear Calderon too. He's not worse than JR.

Wow we cut salary and got the best player! Only negative is that it might hurt the tank but Reggie is a baller!

Wow, LOVE that JR has been moved. Shump just never materialized here either. Dalembert was useless and had no place here going forward.

What are we getting back??? I was excited for Reggie Jackson but no???

This is why Bron was at MSG to scout us. He was scouting Shump and JR since he is the Cavs' GM.

We can hold off until the time is right.

Curious what the final terms are. Either we slightly risk the tank or go all in.

IIRC, I called JR to Cle in the Around thread earlier as well. Just... something about Cleveland seemed like a perfect match.

Agreed, especially if Reggie isnt coming after all.

If it is what being reported currently, the tank hasnt been hampered.

Which I'm ok with. That Woj report was too good to be true. JR going without us sending something back is pretty sweet. A LOT of extra space, as well.
