Iman is average on defense. He will help, but he lets his man beat him constantly.

Please, Iman will get bitched constantly. Kevin Love will be backing him not Tyson.

first getting reggie was a pipe dream, no way we completed that deal asking for reggie. You don't get the best player in a trade u are trading JR, and shump.

plus if a team offers reggie a offer sheet, his cap space would rise to that number so the pick might be more valuable.

also reggie helps you win more games this year.

Meanwhile Calderon lighting it up and Knicks winning. JR's addition by subtraction already in play.

They still have a TPE, DPE and the MEM 1st. They are not done. Also have Tristian Thompson to throw in a trade.

So a protected 1st round pick in this trade? This true or nah? How's that work again. I just remember us giving out unprotected 1st rd picks like candy.
Make the Knicks great again!

The first round pick makes it all worth it. Hope we can use it either this or next year, if all stipulations are met.

cavs seem to have done ok, the additions wont hurt them. Knicks cleared more cap space. Not sure what OKC's involvement is.

Phil's pitch to Bron will now include "Do you really want to play with JR Smith for another season?"

Say it's top 20 protected -- if pick is between 1 and 20, we don't get it. If it's 21, we get it.

cavs did bad. they added cancer to their team and got a decent player as well. i dont think that is good overall.

We traded Jr and cleared cap space. That's a win.

Wait. Did Phil just trade a player that's been out with a shoulder injury? How'd he convince them to take Shump? Oh yeah... The Jedi Mind Tricks.

I'm happy we got rid of JR but we lost one of the few assets we had to do it.

Poorly run franchise. It's not Phil's fault Grunwald made (Please Use More Appropriate Word) moves.

This is better than getting Reggie, whom we can just sign if we like. Pick adds value.

no. reggie is worth more and you could sign him after you spend your money and go over the cap.

You have to deal with his increased Bird Rights cap hold before you do that which greatly limits our ability to sign players.
