Why was this necessary? He spent a total of what….3 months with the Clippers? Why does he continue to take these shots?

He's almost 30 years old and have only played in 15 total playoff games. 11 of those were with the Clippers and, no, that number isn't changing this year or for the foreseeable future. He can kill the "atmosphere of winning" crap.

The Lakers have won. Kobe has won. He hasn't done a damn thing.

and worse….he thinks the world is laughing with him with this Swaggy P gimmick.
a 30 year old man….being called Swaggy P…lmao ok.

What's worse is that this guy once wore a Clippers uniform. You can expect this sort of antagonism by players like Draymond Green, but not from someone whose few playoff appearances and an opportunity to set some playoff memories were with the Clippers...something the Lakers have yet to provide him with. The only reason why the Lakers know who he is is because the Laker FO shares the same building with the Clippers, so scouting our players is the norm for the Lakers. Without the Clippers Nick Young would have never been heard of by the Lakers organization.

One of the tweets by a reporter said that the Clips have no vocal leader in the locker room. I thought CP3 was supposed to be one of the best leaders in basketball.

That's why I have issues trusting the Lakers nowadays. They have spies everywhere.

As did I. I find it odd that this is being said. They're not exactly a group of young pups, and some of these players have been to the NBA finals with other teams: Redick, Big Baby, Farmar, Hedo. So it's not like we don't have the veteran presence in the locker room to instill a winning culture or calm dischord.

Nick Young just likes to talk ****. It's not like the Lakers are all rosy regardless of record. A few weeks ago you had Kobe trashing everyone in practice, and the players, especially him, taking cynical shots back at him in post game interviews.

The problem with our guys that have been to the finals is that they aren't in featured roles on our team and for the most part weren't on their contending teams either. They're always primarily going to have to defer. Although I think the value of "playoff experience" is kind of overblown. Not to say that it doesn't matter, but I think it's more of a function of players individually and as members of a playoff caliber team's core improve together they inherently become better as a team. I'm more of the belief that it isn't playing more playoff games that makes a group better because of some differentiation in the game, but the fact that it takes a few years for teams to properly coalesce and collectively execute at the level of existing elite teams. Essentially, it takes time for younger players to improve to the impact level of the prior generation of contenders.

A quick example is the Celtics big 3. They didn't exactly have troves of deep playoff experience, but no one questioned that assembly as an elite contender because the players were at complete stages in their development. Their capacity to play at a high level in the post season and immediately contend / be favorites wasn't questioned just because they all hadn't had multiple finals runs or any rings.
