They need to get a lot better. Quickly.

Well once everyne is healthy again Dellavedova, Harris, Miller, and Haywood won't be getting starts anymore, so I think there's a decent chance they'll get better, lol.

Jusuf Nurkic time! Dude has been playing exceptionally well, but dude is so freakin cocky lol.

Look at his reaction everytime he makes a basket and him already talking smack to Marc Gasol like he's nothing @ 1:02

Let's start a paypal fund for Game6, you can't deny the guy's work ethic. I don't have to go all over the internet for basketball news, he just delivers them to us in record time. :)

I agree it's an overpay, but it definitely rounds out their roster well.

Irving/Dellavedova/Price
Shump/Smith
LBJ/Miller/Marion/Jones
Love/Thompson
Mosgov/Haywood

That is a scary looking team (especially if JR and Shump play well).

Too early to tell. Depends heavily on the coach who has not been impressive in the least thus far.

Yeah, LeBron was quite unimpressive thus far by his standards.

Total overpay but when you have a major need for someone to defend the paint as much as Cleveland does, you pay the price.

Good moves from the cavs. Those should be late round 1st picks and if they can win one championship, it'll be worth it in the end. They need to win now while lebron is still in his prime and those picks won't help till he gets to where kobe is now.

Whats the playoff rotation?

Irving/Dellavedova
Shump/Smith
Lebron/M. Miller
Love/Marion
Mosgov/Thompson

? Cant see Price, Joe Harris, James Jones, or Haywood getting any minutes really.

Cleveland just improved in two major areas. They needed a defensive minded true center for Kevin Love weaknesses and they needed a defensive minded SG who can shoot threes at a decent rate. Shump and Masgov answers that. Not sure why they traded for J.R. Smith though...

I think Marion will stretch over to 4 and Thompson will play the backup 5. Marion will likely be used as a Battier/Lewis now which is more suitable for him.

Good move for Denver they sold high on Mozgov and got great value for him.

Now it's Nurkic's time to shine in Denver.

Yep, its supply and demand. The supply of defensive bigs is finite and in this case Cleveland's demand for his services is above league average - hence willing 'overpay'.

Not even close to the same situation. Cleveland traded out of need. They were going to have to overpay for Koufos or Mosgov.

Good trade for both sides. Mozgov's under contract this year and next for $4.7m, and he's a legit defensive big. Doesn't hurt you on offense either. Probably the best 5 man who was realistically available for what the Cavs could give up, definitely makes them a better team.

Nuggets get a couple of decent assets for down the line, too. OKC pick will likely be late first, but there's a chance the MEM pick becomes a sweeter pie (a lot can happen in 2 years). Either way, they have other bodies to take up Mozgov's minutes and they get to give Nurkic some more blow. Nice job realizing this season wasn't the time to hold out on some of your lesser assets.
