You might as well get used to the fact that Goran plays the shooting guard position. He plays that position for his National team too. Horny used to play PG until Kevin Johnson was acquired and then shifted to SG. He played SG with John Stockton too. What is wrong with a SG who has handles and court vision? Or if you want we can contact the Lakers about Wesley Johnson.

I'm on my phone so I can't paste it.. ESPN has an article on Bledsoe and his growth in the NBA.

Leaves us with:

Dragic/Ennis
EB/Goodwin/Zoran
Tucker/Warren/J. Young
Sullinger/Randolph/Mitchell
Cousins/Len

I think Boston would go for it as well...Sacramento? Maybe not, but the Morri and Jeff Green aren't a bad haul, and if the Celtics threw in their 1st, and we threw in our 1st, and since the Kings don't have any picks this next draft, that might entice them.

And for us, James Young might very well have been the pick at 18, had Boston not snatched him up at 17, one pick before us--this gives McD a '2nd chance' at getting him on the team. And while we are giving up quite a bit, getting Cousins and Sullinger, and a promising SF/SG prospect, basically a 5-year-younger Gerald Green, is definitely worth it--I really like this trade for us, personally.

Boston Out: Sullinger, J. Green, J. Young, 2015 1st Rd Pick (Unprotected--not a big deal as they have LAC 1st, and maybe Dallas 2015 1st, and Philly's and Wash 2nd Rd picks)
Boston In: I. Thomas, Stauskas, G. Green

Phoenix Out: I. Thomas, Mook, Kieff, G. Green, Plumlee, and 2015 1st Rd Pick
Phoenix In: Cousins, Sullinger, J. Young

Sacramento Out: Cousins, Stauskas
Sacramento In: Marcus Morris, Kieff Morris, Plumlee, Jeff Green, Boston 1st Rd Pick, Phx 1st Rd Pick

Who says "no" ?

Boston says F off. Sullinger is actually pretty damn good. I don't think IT+G Green could even net us Sully, nevermind them sending out Jeff Green and Young as well

I think so as well, but that's why I want him. But you are probably right--especially considering his contract being so cheap.

It would have to probably look closer to this, with us adding in the 2015 LAL 1st to Sac, which would be a horrible trade for us--even with getting Cousins and Sully. I really like the Twins, Len, and Ennis.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=phmqo8c

EB/McCallum
Dragic/Goodwin/Dragic
PJ/Warren/G. Wallace
Sullinger/Randolph/Mitchell
Cousins/Plumlee

Would dramatically improve our D; gives us a "confused" PF (big, rebounding body parked beyond the arc, more often than not), and McCallum becomes our PG-in-training vice Ennis, but for our troubles we are left with Wallace's contract. Seriously, what was Boston thinking with that contract??

Sac would want more than that return for Cousins, hence the LAL 1st.

My 1st trade yesterday was much better for us, but in reality, it would look closer to today's submission. Basically, there is no way to quickly improve our team on the cheap, and thus, we'll just need to keep slowly building out team with small pieces here and there. Here's a much simpler, yet equally crappy trade to get Sully!

Veteran pass first type guy and is a decent shooter.

NYK looking for young blood, maybe Warren + Min 2nd rd picks?

Not something I would care much for but regardless something the Suns could do.

Because we don't have enough pg's already? A 33 year old pg is just what we need.

You must not know Ryan McD pretty well.

Adding another vet PG guard gives us 2 fresh veteran PGs on the floor at all times.

Only thing silly about that trade would be the fact that there's no way in hell NYK accepts it. I think we should add Len and the LAL pick, that ought to get it done. If not, then we can pass and just sign Reggie Jackson this coming summer instead.

At least something can make me laugh during a not so fun day at work.

So, those who really want another big (I do too depending on who it is and what we have to give up), would you have done the deal Cleveland just did for Mozgov?

Basically they gave up two protected firsts.

So, would you have given up the Minnesota pick, and our first rounder protected through pick 18 this year, 15 the next two years and then reverting to two second rounders the following year?

I don't know that I would.

Nope.

We already have a good young C in Len that doesnt get as many minutes as he deserves. Mozgov would just take away even more of his minutes.

I would not.
I think we're gonna end up doing a trade with Boston.
Maybe something like this...
Suns get-
Jeff Green
Brandon Wright

Celtics get-
Isaiah Thomas
PJ Tucker

Bledsoe/Dragic/Green/Kieff/Len
Archie/Green/Marcus/Wright/Plumlee

We gain a ton of height. We probably have to throw in a pick.

Stop trying to give away draft picks for short-term payoffs. It's Rosterbation Gone Wild around here. We're not a Jeff Green away from a title. Jeez.

When the kid gets minutes he rebounds the basketball. His rebounds per 48 # is 17.2 which would put him up with some of the top rebounders in the league, but it represents limited minutes and could be deceiving. Not much of a scorer and fouls alot.

We could use more rebounders for sure.

Yeah, I definitely don't want that. That's one of the several reasons I wouldn't want Brook Lopez. For some reason I was thinking you were advocating getting him, but that must have been some others. If we got someone like Mozgov, I would want him strictly as a backup to get Plumlee off the floor.

I don't think any of these deals give us much of a short term payoff anyway, as loaded as the west is. Unless the Spurs really keep reeling, I just don't see us getting in the top 8. I think we could, and there is a small chance, but I expect we fall short, and changing up the roster if anything probably hurts in the immediate short term anyway as it messes up the chemistry we are finally starting to get back. Also, it stunts the development of others. A backup big might be good if we got him for almost nothing, but that's about it.

I dont consider Jeff Adrien as an "Extra Big". The kid is 6'7. He was just released by his 6th team. The Wolves severely lack bigs (and rebounding) so for them to release him really shows something.

I wouldnt waste the roster spot. Better to keep it open in case we do a trade where we recieve back more players than we send out.

Is it too late for a bledsoe + whatever for love. I'm done with bledsoe and his garbage inability to run an offense.
