LBJ In Miami For Rehab Due To Warm Weather, Cold Weather Having Negative Impact On His Body

"That was by design," Cavs coach David Blatt said Wednesday. "He hasn't been around per orders of the doctor."

James spent part of that time doing rehab at the Cavs' practice facility but also spent time this week in Miami. Spending time in the warmer weather was deemed healthy for James' back. James said he was having rehab sessions 3-4 times a day during the last week.

He said the weather is part of the reason he is going on the Cavs' western road trip that begins Friday in Golden State even though he could be out another week.

I'm sure this will get merged...but I had to make this a separate thread for now.

This is comical on multiple levels.

1. The whole he is on vacation/taking time of to GM in Miami angle cracks me up.
2. Miami has the freshest HGH...gotta stock up....
3. What...they don't have heat in Cleveland?
4. He is missing his pals. What was he whispering to Wade again?
5. This really does allow for an "excuse" to leave Cleveland at the end of the year. He needs to go someplace warm to prolong his career. I wonder if Love will talk him into going to LA? Now THAT would be freaking awesome!

I've never heard of a player rehabbing for a week in Miami simply because of the weather. I mean, if that were the case, damn near every player in professional sports should head to Miami and rehab for a week....that is called a vacation.

We would all be on the floor laughing if Melo bailed to Miami to "rehab is knee" for awhile.

And of course we would all be up in arms if Rose bailed to Cali in the middle of the season to rehab for a week simply because of the weather.

Its definitely to juice up again. He's tried going straight and its not working. He will come back bigger stronger back to the FG% he put up years past. It won't matter, Cleveland is poorly built.

Yeah....surprised that so many people in this thread are asking why it's news. Like seriously? All us common folks would call that "vacation", or "holiday". I'd absolutely be ranting if any of our bulls players did that unless it was some season ending injury, then I'd let is slide
