I wished we had this guy this morning, and this afternoon we do - in McDo we trust.

Next trade I'd like to see happen....we go all in for Boogie.

Find another team to facilitate, but end up trading Len & possibly TJ Warren to Sacramento, we receive Boogie, and ship out Isaiah Thomas to the 3rd team, picks etc.

Run a lineup of

Bledsoe
Dragic
Tucker
Kief
Boogie

With Marcus Morris, Green, Wright, Ennis and Goodwin being our bench.

Not sure if salaries would match up....someone do a 3 team trade to get us Boogie? Len is our hot commodity now.

Looks like the Celtics plan to out-tank the Lakers.

Trading both Wright & Green in the same day for Prince's corpse, a 1st and 2 2nd's.

1. Great move my Suns, and for the Wolves pick too? Absolute steal.
2. The moment Suns were mentioned to have interest on Wright and Celtics nabbed him, you know there was some sort of discussion already in place between Celtics and Suns. With that said, my NBA 2K 15 roster updated that week, so now life imitates Art :-)
3. Suns now have another rotation player, when they are already very deep. I'm not saying it'll happen, but I think there is a likelihood of a multi-player trade in the works that has 3+ Suns players going out. With whom? who has roster space in the NBA at the moment?

Nice, some more silver lining to the trade. Maybe they bump the Lakers to the 6th pick.

Not to mention Rondo.

Celtics loaded up on (protected) 1st's, but a lot of assets nonetheless.

Whats the feeling with Prince?
Is he going to be waived?

A contending team may have use for him.. not named Grizzlies obviously.
Perhaps Clippers?

If there is a major trade that happens, involving multiple players or stars, it likely will happen closer to the deadline because people will exhaust all options first.

I don't really see the Suns doing much else myself, unless they get a good offer for Thomas. It seems they are playing better with all three though, so they may just stick with it.

Wright is a career 8 pt 4 rebound guy. If he plays decent, resign him for cheap. If he doesn't, let him walk. No real downside to this trade.

Wright isn't going to be a star but he is a decent backup big. Good bench guy to have.

I think Wright SHOULD play PF... until Suns can get value for Plumlee anyways.
Sitting Plumlee absolutely kills any value he has, he is a 7/7/1.5 center when getting 28+ minutes, thats got to be worth a pick between 20-30 to a team looking for a backup big man.

Wright can defend PFs, as he is very long and agile... 6'10... 7'5" wingspan.... 220 pounds though so very light.. pretty much John Henson 27 year old version. And efficient down low.

Unless another trade (as per mentioned earlier by me) already involves Plumlee...
Nets / Suns??

Suns trade
Plumlee + Thomas + Tucker OR Green

for

Lopez + Karasev

Suns new lineup.

C: Len / Wright / Lopez / Randolph
PF: Lopez / Morris / Morris / Randolph
SF: Green OR Tucker / Karasev / Warren
SG: Dragic / Goodwin / Green OR Tucker
PG: Bledsoe / Dragic / Ennis

I've been saying it all year that Plumlee has been really bad.

That Sunsfan69 tried to claim I was hating on Plumlee for no good reason....I haven't even seen that guy around here lately.

You're obsessed with Plumlee... Even on GB you're trying to prove everyone how he's awful. It's like you're being paid to post all that.

This board has really become awful lately. Certain people keep whining during every game thread, like this is their personal blog or something. No wonder some great posters barely even come here. I wouldn't bee surprised if you're one of the reasons for that.

This would be a huge dice-roll. I still don't think this team would contend in the West, so I'd opt out and maintain our flexibility for the next two-three years.

But the Twin Towers of Len and Lopez would be intriguing. I wish Lopez could stay healthy.

Lol that's fine. I said it that we need an upgrade over Plumlee and you tried to bash me for that and guess what...the Suns GM also figured out that we need an upgrade over Plumlee. Don't be bitter about being wrong.

Which "great posters" are we missing here? Please shed some light.

I dunno, I think that team can win 57-60 games for the next 4-5 years... if Lopez can stay healthy AKA like Bogut but with an additional 10-15 games a season ( :-) ), Suns would be fighting with the west top 4... Phoenix would be buzzing again never seen since the Nash/Amare era... Sarver would approve... Suns would look good for future FAs... Suns have a chance... Us fans here would all be looking forward to the playoffs.. instead of hoping to be in the playoffs.. and in that 4-5 years... Goodwin, Ennis would be regular rotation and could be impact players... so thats a NOW and FUTURE team.

I never tried to bash you for wanting an upgrade over Plumlee. Many posters do, and i don't have a problem with them. But you are different. You use every opportunity to bash him, like he bullied you in high school or something. It's just ridiculous. Imagine what place this would become if everyone started constantly posting what you post for every player they don't like.

Your more than welcome to use the ignore feature if you don't want to read what I have to say. Its there for that reason.

I have nothing personal against Plumlee. If it came off like I did, then I apologize. He seems like a caring and nice person from all his interviews and such. I only have problems with his actual game.

You'd be ok with just Len & Wright.

I'm hopeful Wright can be an improvement over Plumlee (no doubt on his offense...doubting Wright's rebounding)...it's the added depth at 4-5 positions that I like in this deal.

You'd trade Plum for a pick?

Better than sitting him all season and he walks for nothing at the end... yeah, I think play him until Suns can get some sort of pick (asset) for him.

Return to Phoenix Suns
