I don't care about last night's game as far as the loss is concerned, I care more about this horrible team affecting Len's fire! Len plays his ass off the entire game-on both ends-but the guys just ignore him too much. Len hustles, doesn't get rewarded. Len blocks shots, doesn't get rewarded. He rebounds and throws a few bows. He is fired up after ever big play he makes and he gets jack for it. He plays hard all of the time....sprinting up the court only to get gassed. That's like swinging and missing. He posts up after a defensive block like "get me the ball. I am jacked up. I got this." NOPE!!

I can see him getting fed-up and lose his passion for the game. I'd like to see him be the focal point and start making this his team like someone said earlier. Dude is tough as nails and he is just a pup; imagine what he would be like at 25 and the team's leader. It won't happen with Bledsoe, Green, IT and CO (the Morri). Those guys are some selfish dumb ball players!!!

Free Alex Len

Get rid of all the mental midget, cry baby, technical foul getting, ball hogging busters.

Free Alex Len

Dragic
Warren
Len

are my keepers right now.

Agreed on all accounts.

This team is honestly extremely undisciplined and that falls on the HC Hornacek.

Why do you guys keep saying that Alex Len should get more touches on the block? Have you seen him when he does get it? He has no idea what to do...Idk what makes you guys think Alex Len has some hidden post game. Dude is a Tyson Chandler type player right now where he only gets the ball in spots where he can just dunk it. You guys are acting like players never feed it to the post. They always give the ball to Markieff Morris in the post because they respect his post game. Until The coach and the players see some MASSIVE improvements in his post play in practice then he is relegated to spot up jump shots, put backs, and simple dunks.

I think it would be safe to say, Len has 3-4 opportunities for a close range shot... he's open, but doesn't get the pass. Perhaps it is the coach's game plan, but the Chuckwagon often ignores one of it main horses.

Respectfully disagree with this 100%. Alex Len calls for the ball at least 5-7 times a game in the post and Bledsoe, Dragic, and Thomas look him off. They wave him away. Then they make some ill advised stupid play that results in either a turnover or a missed shot. Happens all the time. What is the big deal with just dumping it to him down low and letting him work. How many people on here said last year and during the offseason that Alex Len is a bum and should get traded? A lot of people. Now look at him. He defended Duncan last night better than anyone in a Suns uniform has ever defended him. It was because of Len's defense that Duncan was basically benched the majority of the second half. It was unbelievable. When a player does that, you reward him. Dragic and Bledsoe hardly ever give him the ball. There is only so much you can do in practice. The guy drove from behind the three point line through San Antonio's defense and ferociously dunked it last night. Then he never even attempted another shot. Where is the logic in that? Steve Nash would be feeding Len 20 times a game if he played with him.

Look at this video and go to exactly 19 seconds into it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMF1nmV7Jj8 You see that? Len gets the ball in the post, makes a good move and drains the shot, plus he was actually fouled and the ref did not call it. No reason he should not get those opportunities all the time.

Last time I saw the Suns give him the ball inside, he backed the defender well, he drew the defenders attention, he missed, but he provided open looks. The day he realizes that he has 2 options when he gets the ball like that (a.try to score, b.draw defense kick out), he will be an impactful offensive player.

But HE NEVER gets the ball down there to back down the player...
He will get an occasional base line, high elbow pass, he will usually take a mid-range attempt.. that does not count as a "post" feed.

Someone out there can probably make a highlight video of Len posting up smaller players only to be waived off or ignored... it'll probably go for a couple of minutes.

This is the Suns schedule between January 21st and February 5th:

Portland
Houston
clippers
DC
Bulls
Warriors
grizz
Portland.

Based on the games against NO, OKC and SAS, we probably lose most of them by like 5 pts or less.

Seriously, what's our record in 5 pt or less games this season against good teams in the West? Like 0-7?
