Game 37: Cavs at Golden State 10:30 EST, ESPN FSO

Post#1 » by King Stannis » Fri Jan 9, 2015 6:50 am

The new model Cavaliers march into the lion's den as they visit a hot Warriors team. The Cavs have been dreadful without LeBron James and have been shorthanded from injuries and recent trades. New acquisition, Timofey Mozgov, is expected to start Friday night.

Carried by ESPN and Fox Sports Ohio.

Keys to the Game:

1. Play defense, ok?
2. Kev, please hit a shot today.
3. Kyrie, stay hot.
4. Timofey, SMASH!
5. JR, hit some shots, K?

We're gonna be under .500 soon, pretty pathetic.

I'm a huge optimist. Based on LeBron's body language he really does seem laxed and because of this I think its confusing Kyrie and Kevin as they try to assimilate into this offense. I'm hopeful after all-star break we will see the old LeBron back and ready with everyone healthy to make a strong last stretch of the season before playoffs and whip everyone into shape.

LeBron is still out right? Apparently he has some party in SF tonight, I hope he will at least be courtside and not partying while his teammates are on the floor.

I want to save Italiangame the trouble, so here goes........"Blatt sucks........he has no rotation.......the team isn't going anywhere......if you disagree with me you are all idiots........Blatt sucks".
And yes, blowout loss.

Looking good so far. JR Smith with 9 early points.

Mozgov with 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist in 5 minutes coming off the bench.

In other news, Waiters had 15 points (7-14 shooting) with OKC today.

4 streals too, goat. I think his defense will prosper playing along side Westbrook and having Ibaka behind him, he won't have to over help all the time like he did here.

As much as I love Delli's heart and grit, he's not a very good backup point guard. We really need one.

This team plays no defense and has no heart. How do we end up losing by 18 after being close most of the game? So mentally soft.

I think we looked better with jr and mozgov on the floor early

What's up with miller and jones's shoot Delly is shooting the long ball better right now

How bad was that

Can't believe the Cavs are 2-8 since Christmas.

i was actually rooting for you guys to humble the gsw team. But gsw is too deep even for the retooled cavs, lets see what happens when lebron comes back. I hope the outcome will be different when the king returns..

Where was matrix by the way?

Also being .500 team in the east is not acceptable with this roster.

Matrix was in a suit on the bench next to Lebron.

GSW often will use a 10-12 deep rotation, figure you out in the first half.. then when you think you are fairly close they stomp on the gas.. win by 15-20 pt. Thought Mosgov and Smith did well for newcomers. Even with LeBron it's hard to beat GSW on their floor. They lost once at home so far.
CENSORED... No comment.
