Suns acquire Brandon Wright for the Minnesota draft pick

He is also a free agent this summer. So while the player is certainly worth the Minny pick, the player as a rental--meh. I suppose a tryout is good and we can decide if we want to keep him. He like Dallas and Dallas liked him. There is a lot of talk about him resigning there this summer.

We have his Bird rights so we are well positioned to resign him this summer. Like you have said, Jeff has the oportunity to see in the next months if we want him here long term, it's not a pure rental.

Why do people keep listing green at SG...

Perhaps because that's where he plays a lot of his minutes? IT and Green are out there a lot together when Dragic and Bledsoe are both on the bench. He plays a little bit at the SF spot too, but I think everybody here knows that the listed positions don't always hold true with this team; it's just a kind of generalization to make the starter/backup lists cleaner.

I think he met up with the team this morning in Memphis. McD said he'd be with them for the Memphis game and most likely play if he can pick up some of the defensive and offensive schemes in practice today.

Great move, but I smell one more trade coming before the All-Star break/ Deadline. We got front court help without moving anybody but Tolliver and the lowest of our assets (outside of seconds) I think the Cavs situation is being observed with great intensity in the front office. It's a small chance, but possible.

IT, Plumlee, Archie, PHX pick for an expiring Love. That team would be tough to deal with for years to come, and would happen without giving up the LAL pick. All FA's could be resigned plus grab a 1 or 2 in the draft at #6 (maybe Mudiay if he falls)

Well, we all know it takes bigs longer to develope. Maybe we keep him in the stable and continue to develope him, he is young and under contract.

He has had trouble staying healthy and has played aroun 18-20 minutes per game usually, being super effective.

Hopefully the injuries are behind him cause there's a big opportunity for him to play a ton of minutes. All of Plumlee's minutes and also minutes at PF. He's a better fit than Kieff with the point guards, for example.

He's all about his own...he will dribble forever looking for his shot and then give it up to anyone and maybe hope he gets an assist from it but at least it wasn't him missing the shot if that happens. I think this is his mindset.
