This is exactly why Tolly didn't deserve half the crap he got as a Sun.

He didn't do it for us. So yes he did deserve what he got from us fans.

Nobody on here ever believed in him though, Horny included. It's one thing to be disappointed with performance and another altogether to throw a player under the bus. A lot of fans here chose to partake in the latter.

His short leash never gave him a chance.

WTF, he's playing so much more aggressively. Completely different player. Getting traded must have pissed him off.

Its amazing how much better his defense and rim protecting is. Two big time blocks.

It really makes me question the Suns defensive schemes.

Tolliver also had an amazing 1-5 game just before this.

With four fouls in 23 mins.

But yeah lets use the ONLY good game has played as an example.

Lets Trade Wright for Tolliver. Am I right Guys?

While we are at it lets make a trade for Kendall Marshall

Wait wait why stop there! Lets trade for Butler too! He was on our team for all of 5 seconds but the guy can ball!

We traded away sooooooooo much talent! These youtube highlight reels are really depressing me....We could have been so good if we kept these guys.

What does a defensive scheme have to do with individual defense such as blocking a shot?

His responsibilities on the floor on that end. Personally, I still think Tolliver is a bad defender but their scheme is making him look passable or maybe even good.

I've like this kid from day one....had a friend going to Creighton during his time. one of the first things he did with his first big paycheck is set up a charity housing program for lower income moms. His a Stand up guy. Glad he is doing well. Was a questionable 'what else can we do?' pick up for us.

No harm, no foul

It was a tough situation. It seemed clear that we got him to fill the Frye role, but there was so much lacking in that department. First, the chemistry between Tolliver and Goran would have to come right away. Goran wasn't himself to start the season, and he didn't have the minutes on the floor to run a squad with Tolliver to develop that chemistry. Tolliver doesn't have the height or speed of release to match Frye, so strike two on that one. Frye had a different Plumlee to work with than Tolliver did. (Well at least for the first half of last season, Plumlee was a better rebounder and defender with so much more energy).

I don't see the point in bad mouthing Tolliver at any point, we just weren't the right fit for him, and it didn't seem too hard to move him.

Good idea, that just didn't pan out.
