Too conservative on Def today
We should have blitz AR more today and put lots of pressure on him. We didn't do that and he had plenty of time to throw. Def was way too conservative today and not taking more chances. This game shouldn't have to come down to the catch call and we gave the refs a chance to screw us. It was a great catch by Dez as he went up and came down took 3 steps towards goal line and the hit the ground. Had he jumped up and came down straight to the ground then I agree no catch. This was painful way to end the season. What could have been!!!

You can't blitz Aaron Rodgers much without getting burned. I don't blame the defense for today. They certainly deserve their share of the blame but I put this loss on Murray and Dez both. Murray's fumble was just inexcusable especially considering he was prolly walking into the endzone for a 21-10 lead. As far as Dez, whether you believe it's a catch or not, it's Dez fault for leaving it up to the refs. Come down with the ball cleanly and leave zero doubt.

Healthy AR then I would not dial up more blitzes, but today would be great opportunity to blitz him and make him move on that bad leg. DeZ did come down and took 3 steps forward to goal line! Just too bad season ended this way!

I'm absolutely sick to my stomach right now. What an awful way to end such an incredible year. And there's nobody I feel for more than Romo. This was probably his last legitimate shot to make an NFC Championship game.

When he signed his contract I thought he'd be OK through 2016. With his back surgery that is now a big question mark. Now if I was right about 2016 and we have two good drafts ( 2015 mostly defense) he will have two more very good chances.

As long as we have this O line and we commit to the run like we did this year, I say Romo has 2 more good years left in him. Again, if we commit to the run game like we did this year. If we go back to old JG then Romo is done!

Its REALLY risky blitzing Rodgers. It might have made sense due to the fact he was hobbled but great QBs kill you when you blitz them. The D gave up 26 points to a team who averaged that at half time at home this season. 2 INCREDIBLY close plays changed this game.

I think it's worth the risk today, playing with house money, AR on one leg, and a chance to advance to NFC championship game. Nonetheless, a great year that ended with a heartbreaker! Cowboys be proud!

I didn't want to see many all out blitzes, but when you only rush 3, you're still asking for it. Dallas did that a little too often in that 2nd half.

I keep hearing everyone say that about Murray and heard Aikman say it, but they were in single high and the safety was 20 yards down the field by himself. Yes, he could have missed the tackle, but it was in no way a walk into the end zone.

Aikman also disagreed with going for it at the end eventhough Buck said Bailey was short from 50 at halftime.

Romo seems to get hurt every game and that's not a good sign going forward. I don't question his talent moving into next year, but I wonder how long his body will hold up. Watching him get up after being hit he looks like he aged a lot this year. Maybe it's all related to the back and I expect the back to be better next year than this year.

Let the second guessing begin.
It's what many do best...now if only these guys had a controller or joy stick.
Thankfully the human element remains and it's still the best Cowboy season in 15 plus years

we just didn't take advantage of our opportunities to take control of this game. AR was crippled and he still beat us, imagine if he was healthy. Like I said before, we should have blitz more and make AR move around with that gimpy leg and who knows what would had happen but I would have taken that chance to see if he can make plays throwing on the run with one leg. We all know he can dissect us sitting in the pocket. Great year as we all did not expect the Boys to have this kinda year. At least I didn't!

Re: Too conservative on Def today
Baltimore didn't cover anyone Saturday. They let NE have 7 yrds the entire second half. I actually thought our coverage was pretty decent even with giving ROdgers all day to throw. He was just on target. If Moore would have dove a couple of times maybe he deflects them. We were close. Then I think of the lanes ROdgers had to run if he could have. I would have sure liked to watch that last 4 minutes with GB needing a score. Anyone notice that they didn't even put the 20 plus seconds back on the clock after the pass was ruled incomplete. Not that it would have mattered. Like JG said, we had our chances

As far as the second guessing I do wonder what the 3rd and 1 play was when Romo dropped the snap. I have to believe it was originally a pass because he was in shotgun to begin with and when he saw 0 coverage maybe he killed the original play and was going deep the whole time. Don't know.
