Interesting, TC reports Jokic expected to be 7'1 or 7'2 by time he comes over, a face up 5. Great passer with high BBIQ.

Two questions.

1.) How much faith do you have in Connelly as a talent evaluator, given the 9 guys added to the team since he got the job?

2.) Do you believe that he actually has full control of trades and draft picks without either strong influence from or even real decision making by Josh and, in cases of big money spent, Silent Stan?

I don't believe TC has "Phil Jackson" power but I think he's got the same long leash Shaw has. Those off-season signings right after he got hired I don't hold completely against him, Josh probably contributed to a lot of those. I was disappointed in how long the Andre Miller trade took but he got two expiring players and Brooks added to the team in his limited stint here. I also think he's done well in the draft and getting the two 1st out of Mozzy ain't bad.

Well, have to say I am liking what I see for him at the drafting level and his trades for the 11th pick and for Mozgov have been impressive. The FA signings from his 1st year were questionable, but not totally unreasonable since they were made in haste.

I'll give him the latitude for another season w/o reservation.

Conceding the season is a bit annoying. You always look for trades, but to concede sends the wrong message to players and competition. "Lose twenty and we give up and hand over assets"

In that sense we should be very wary of knee jerk moves. Trading down because the season isn't perfect. Ok, so if Gallo comes back and it changes the whole complexion of the team won't we feel stupid.

Jokic has been absolutely killing it in the Adriatic league this season. I think you guys will have an embarrassment of riches at center when he comes over to play with Nurkic.
