It's over. Doc's gonna start Austin over JJ and max him out this summer.

Maybe Rivers is trash….but I don't see why he can't be Danny Green for us eventually.

Pop develops players, Doc doesn't have the patience or the raw coaching ability to do the same.

Also, Green and Rivers are completely different players. Green is a prototypical three-and-D wing, Rivers is a tweener point guard who can't shoot or play defense.

Stop quoting my posts.

you're on ignore. I don't like seeing the negative **** you have to say.

Hopefully, Ballmer Can Buy Some First-Round Picks

Anybody really surprised that another of our first-round picks is involved? Hey, I like the idea of pursuing Chandler but giving up both Crawford and a first-rounder for a guy the Nuggets are shopping hard seems like overpayment to me.

I would think dealing Bullock and Crawford would net us a first alone, so I dont see that being our first, depending on what it takes to move Farmar.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

I know Shaw wants veterans on the roster, but what sense does it make for them to acquire Crawford? Some playoff team would give us a 1st for Crawford and Bullock.

It doesn't seem like Crawford has much value. especially to a team like the nuggets. They are probably just treating him like an expiring .

I am hoping we can turn Crawford into something, but am really having a hard time coming up with a realistic value. I think its pretty obvious that he is a one trick pony and a system breaker.

Prince hasn't recorded a league average PER since 2010-11. Other metrics have him at or below replacement level.

Yeah. Just seems like he's stating what other people have already said, but with a couple guesses added in here and there to see if it comes true.

Maybe something centered around Crawford + Hawes to the Nets, Brook Lopez to Miami and Deng coming to us could be possible?? with the reports of Miami's interest in Lopez and they listening to offers for Deng, and since Brooklyn can't really afford to go young and rebuild? I don't know if they're gonna get much better offers for Lopez than that, and looking at their roster it seems they're more in need of shooters and an on ball creator like Jamal than a guy like Deng, who's just gonna overlap with Joe Johnson.

Us having to add the 2020 pick to any deal would be horrendous. Paul will be 35 by then, Blake will be 31, Deandre 32 and Redick 36. And Doc will probably be gone to his next adventure so he won't care. But we're gonna be rebuilding in 2020, and we'll need all of our picks by that time, else we'll be the new Brooklyn Nets: A very rich owner with no long term vision for his toy, an awful GM who is not interested in looking at the big picture either, and a declining team with no room to improve. All that for a year of Wilson Chandler in a season where it's very unlikely we'll be fighting to win it all?

unless we are getting a solid player that can start in return, I do not see the clips parting with jamal. his value would be to a contender and I just do not see it. plus he is a guy I like for this team. he is not perfect but he fills a need at this time.

Crawford absolutely has value. He is having another career year and his contract is only partially guaranteed next season.

Here's to hoping the trade is a simple CDR and perhaps Turkoglu.
