I was hoping that we'd at least get something in return during these 10 days, but I guess Ohka's not worth much with his consistent short outings.

The Toronto Blue Jays released starting pitcher Tomo Ohka Monday.
Ohka, started 10 games for the Jays, posting a 2-5 record with a 5.79 ERA.
In 56 innings, the native of Kyoto, Japan allowed 68 hits, 10 home runs, walked 22 and had 21 strikeouts. Ohka, 31, was signed as a free agent in January 2007 to a one-year deal.
