Load down low, terror on the offensive glass and some nice defense.c?

The Cavs may have gotten a LOT better with those two moves.

I am a little upset that Phil Jackson might have given Lebron a championship. J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert both are capable of bringing athleticism in transition like the Miami Heat teammates Lebron James won with.

Mozgov is going to be a big help also, queridiculo.

The Cavs will certainly be improved with plenty of time for their new team to Gel, the X-Factor is coach Blatt.

Wow, Jeff Green trade possibly expanded to send Austin Rivers to LAC to play for his dad.

Not really. For one thing, if you think the 2 waivers mean the players are equivalent, then umm... why did we need to give up another pick to swap?

But these guys being waived right now doesn't mean they're equivalent. It doesn't amount to a comparison of any kind.

Lets wait a few months, maybe even a year, and see whether one of them is still in the league. If that's what happens, and the guy is Rice, *then* CCJ (and I and a few others) may need to "eat some humble pie." If it's Wolters, the opposite -- in which case *more* humble pie will need to be eaten by those who supported a trade in which we gave up a player and a pick for a non-player.

But, hey, maybe they'll both be in the league -- always want to wish young players the best, so lets hope that's what happens!

You obviously weren't following the conversation.

All I have to say about Rice is that Nate Wolters is still with the Bucks.

Ooops! You're right. I misread the context of your post.

David Blatt says Love isn't a max player lol. Cavs are such a soap opera.

Dan Gilbert probably would fire Blatt right now if it wouldn't cost him a fortune.

Nets for sale. The Russian came in, destroyed their future by dumping their draft picks, and now wants to sell. :nonono:

I hope he doesn't make much on the sale after the way he screwed up the team.

And now the Pelicans sign Wolters to a 10 day. Could this be the start of something big? Might someday the names Wolters and Davis be uttered in the same breath as those of Stockton and Malone? That would be a long breath of vindication for CCJ. More to come.

The Russian came in with an edict, Billy King destroyed that franchise, just like he did with the Sixers.

They gave Sideshow Bob 3 years $30 million extension

And were going to tie up $13 million a year with Tristian Thompson

All while paying LeBron $21 million, Love $16 million, Kyrie $15 million.

What a trainwreck.

When you have a bad obnoxious owner like Dan Gilbert, even the best of set-ups can careen off the tracks.

Btw, Thompson might have made the worst decision of his life there.

Notice how your post was met with deafening silence, monte? :D

There are folks hoping and praying for Wolters to bust.

Tristan needs to fire his agent, what fools they were turning down that offer.

His agent says he can get more than 4/52. What if he's right? The salary structure may be set to go out o control.

Hmmm, Love and Lebron can both opt out after this season.

The salary structure may be set to get out of control, I still don't see how Thompson is going to get more than $52 million over 4 years.

To me this smells more like Thompson wanting to move on to a place where he has a shot at more playing time.

New York seems like a destination for him.

Agreed. Maybe he gets a 5th year by waiting, but he won't get more per year IMO.

He could also want out before that ticking timebomb of a situation completely implodes.

Not sure what the point is of that Clippers-Suns-Celtics deal. Reggie Bullock hasn't been much good, though he does defend (and looked okay in YODA his draft year). Rivers has been terrible, but has improved to ALMOST replacement level this season. And Shavlik Randolph has been awful this year.

I guess Austin gets to play for his dad.
