Re: Official Trade Thread: New Year, New Thread, New Laughs
Dragic to Rockets is unlikely... well unless Suns are willing to bend over for Morey.
I can see Dragic to Lakers for Lin (expiring), Randle (injured). Thats assuming Suns will not offer MAX for Dragic and Lakers are, and Dragic has green lighted Lakers. But why would he want to play with Kobe?... I dunno.
But Dragic has high value, not as high as if he was locked up, but he is a good player... not a potentially good player, he is already there.

We should pay him at least whatever anyone else is willing to pay him because if teams are willing to pay him that, then if we want we could trade him at some point, but you don't let premier players just walk.

Traxx never mentioned that the Great Shav was on the block... this blockbuster is out of left field!!!! Im not a Suns Fan anymore!!! KIDDING...LMFAOThis has to be a precursor to deals coming.... IT HAS TO BE! I think the Rockets make a win now move and give us Monti for Dragic. That will lead us to try to move the Morri!
Yeah sure what ever you say.
Dismantle and restructure this team at mid season based on comments from a poster who first posts what he is hearing (from his media sources) and then cannot back away fast enough in his disclaimer. Not going to happen.
When a team overloaded at guard trades for another guard, its safe to say something is coming. I like Dragic, but grow tired of our current makeup. I have said all along that I would rather trade Bledso than Dragic but I am not the Suns front office. Just speculating on what the hell is going on, not wishing for a dismantle as you have mentioned... and I never did in my post. Just spectating and speculating like everyone else, no need to get mad.

Archie Goodwin not too thrilled with Bullock coming to Phoenix..
After the game I asked Archie Goodwin what he thought of the move to acquire Reggie Bullock. Didn't seem especially thrilled. Cont.

I am not mad, I am sorry you're tired of my current make-up. I picked on you particularly because of what you said about dealing Dragic to the Rockets to appease their self-centered, idiotic, entitled fans.

Reggie Bullock CAN play next to Archie Goodwin. The reporter asking a combo guard about a SG/SF player coming in. And I'm sure he didnt know anything about that move, so why should he be thrilled? He should be more worried if the Suns trade for another star SG or PG.

I think there is another trade coming. Do you guys think Bullock have a real chance of playing time? I never watched a game of Bullock, i don't know anything about him.Could he replace Green?

I think he said "our" as in he is tired of the Suns current make-up.
I don't think he has any personal feelings about you... not that I'm aware of.

Yeah, if Green + (1 of the PGs) are traded, Bullock has a spot.

makes me wonder if the Bullock move was made to replace Pj Tucker, if green goes, and Marcus plays the bulk of his minutes as back up pf then we are looking at
Dragic/Goodwin
Bullock/Warren/Marcus
Kieff/Marcus

Re: Official Trade Thread: New Year, New Thread, New Laughs
Hmmm...
I'm starting to feel that McD would rather keep Thomas than Dragic... purely due to Dragic going to get around 200% of Thomas' salary.
Dragic is the better player clearly but... Thomas with increased usage can probably up his production some more.
Eye test wise, Dragic blows Thomas out of the water though..
I dunno.. I'm just thinking out loud on what the Suns FO might be thinking.

Saw my mistake and changed it... would never say I was tired of your makeup JD, Our makeup meaning the Suns, my bad. And dont get me wrong, I actually like Dragic and Bledso and get tired of all of the other chuckers (Thomas, Green, Marcus) think our team chemistry is bad. Would never choose to get rid of Dragic myself, as I have said.... What I did say is if the front office HAS DECIDED to trade him... what makes sense as to who wants him bad enough and what would we like to get back on his expiring contract because we shouldnt make a trade just to make a trade, it should be something that makes a diffrence. And again... we traded for another guard man.. you have to think we are going to trade someone right?? I think its Green, but just speculating on if its Dragic too... NOT WISHING... I thought I had said that the part about not wanting to part with Dragic in several posts.

Re: Official Trade Thread: New Year, New Thread, New Laughs
Like getting Reggie Bullock if he can develop into a 3 and D guy, basically a more refined more controlled version of Gerald Green.
Looks like Gerald Green doesn't have a spot on the team anymore, and honestly I don't mind that.
Trading Randolph away for Bullock is another great move by McDonough.
Tolliver and Randolph out
Wright and Bullock in
Great bench moves by our GM.
We are definitely stockpiling assets to make a trade.
Guys who could move:
Warren, Goodwin, Ennis, Green, Thomas, Plumlee

Seriously? Bullock starting? W traded for him because he was available for free, for frickin Shavlik Randolph. He probably will spend most of the time on the inactive list this season.

Re: Official Trade Thread: New Year, New Thread, New Laughs
I'd give all 3 Suns PGs for Harden though, if Rockets really want Dragic lol.
Harden pretty much plays a Penny Hardaway type PG/SG combo anyways.
Putting up 26.5/7 with good defense.. 3pt shooter, penetrator.. the works!!

I'm not sure how Reggie Bullock can be in any way compared to Gerald Green?? Green is purely an offensive spark plug that doesn't play any defense.. if anything Reggie Bullock is closer to PJ Tucker.

I dont think the youth (Ennis, Goodwin, Warren) are on the move.
Look at McD's moves, he is moving out veterans for players who has upside still and YOUNG.
He also drafted Warren. Ennis and Goodwin, along with Len.
He will give them time to shine on the court before he decides who to trade off IMO.
