I'd go:

Okafor
WCS
Mudiay
Russell
Towns

Splitting hairs between Russell and Mudiay but I've seen more of Russell so I'd be more comfortable with him. Mudiay has the higher ceiling obviously. Obviously a smart GM would have Towns higher on the list, I'm just listing guys I like. I'm sure Towns will be a good player for years to come.

I would be very upset too but I could live with both Stanley Johnson. It would hurt not to get 1 of the 3 though.

If we are picking 4th, I would have to take a look at D'Angelo Russell. He has great size for a combo guard. He seems like a much better shooter than Mudiay as well. I have seen him play and he is shooting up the draft boards.

I think draftexpress has him as the #4 prospect right now. He might be my #4 prospect if he continues his outstanding play.

If he keeps playing like this he's my number 2. He's playing like a star and if he continues outside of Okafor he's the tippy.

D'angelo Russell doesn't have that NBA athleticism to dominate. Mudiay is still the top guard on my board.

Neither did James Harden and Stephen Curry but they're the top 2 players mentioned as MVP so far.

Harden was athletic. Didn't know he had that ball handling ability.

Curry is a great shooter.

I'd pass on Russell. He doesn't have that elite speed, size, or strength. Mudiay is 200 lbs while Russell is 170 lbs. Mudiay is already more athletic.

Didn't they say the same thing about Brandon Roy?

just ridiculous

Actually, it's not ridiculous at all. Willie Cauley-Stein has the potential to become a DPOY.

Like I said in my comparison. Stein could go down the Andre Drummond route. However, he's got a weird dopiness about him that could result in a Javale McGee. Yes, I think he'd be great defensively and his combination of athleticism and size is impressive (ergo Drummond comparison) but he just does not strike me as a very cerebral player (ergo Javale McGee). I mean for a short period there McGee looked like he could be the next great C right? A game changing defensive C. Maybe it's just me. If the Knicks get kicked in the nuts by the basketball gods and end up picking 4th...I could be ok with Stein...I guess. Stein has terrific athleticism for a 7 footer I will say. His reaction times (quick twitch muscles, whatever) also is terrific. His frame appears able to take on some more pounds so while not likely to get into the Dwight Howard range of musculature, he could potentially add another 10-15 pounds and could become somewhat of a monster defensive C. He just needs to stay away from the antics and the blond hair. His offense has some glipses of being able to develop a little bit so he shouldn't be a one dimensional player completely. He doesn't pass the ball however...not good at it at all (seems like a real poor feel for it and the flow of the offense)...so obviously the questions of Triangle fit will come. Towns, a freshman, has so much more feel for the ball and where the offense is, for example, than Stein.

You haven't watch Kaminsky... though he wont be the Knicks pick.. (he is in my top 10) .. the kid can play and would be a hand full for opposing bigs in the nba... inside and out, two way player with above average handle and passing for a big...

He's a scrub for a top 5 pick. He's a weaker but better shooting Kelly Olynyk.

I have a similar top 10... but would flip Wright for WCS and drop Portis after S.Johnson... not that big of a fan of M.Turner (I think he is too soft right now and under develop)... I have Russell in front of Mudiay (who I don't trust and could be a bust), hope we Knicks do not draft him with such a high pick... I rather have a vet pg or two shooters that play defense in the backcourt..

Now I really know you haven't watched his games.... Kaminsky is actually bigger and stronger than Olynyk.. Olynyk rarely plays inside..Kaminsky does.. again Knicks are not drafting him with a top five pick..most would say right now he is not a top five pick..but of course this can change as the year and tournament goes by... What if he was drafted six, does that make him not a scrub, then? LOL.... Logic Bro.

People here still talking like Towns is a Top 3 pick. He wont be

Its Okafor, Mundiay, Russell and possibly Stanley Johnson who just keeps on getting better

I'm comparing him to Olynyk in college who played inside way more than Kaminsky. And if he was drafted 6th we still drafted a guy who might be the 10th best player at 6 (which is currently a pick we couldn't even get since the lowest we'll go is 4th).
