If we run with Lawson and Knight, we are going to have very short guards.

I think there's nothing to see here for awhile.

Don't get the sense the Bucks will make some monster trade where 4 players are outgoing. More realistic that the SAC trade happens and I'm cool with that.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

I know Eric personally. He's just legit sleep deprived at the moment. I also know for a fact he gets good info. Things he brings here may not necessarily happen but rest assured they've been discussed.

Aren't a lot of these deals dependent on another deal occuring - or not occuring in some cases. The old one pool ball striking another which strikes a third, etc....

Bucks may be facilitating a move that sends Calderon to the Blazers for CJ McCollum, I believe we would take back Blake from Portland to make the deal work while receiving a draft pick as compensation for absorbing a deal.

I feel these are the more realistic deals we see happen at the deadline, the big moves are possible, but highly unlikely mid season.

Steve Blake? Didn't we trade for him when he was on Portland last time? Didn't he despise playing here last time too? That would be hilarious.

That would be as bad a way to use our cap space as possible. Expiring or not, Blake is an all time dick nozzle and would loaf it here once again. Few guys I would want less on my team.

You realize we could just cut him if he bitches? Not sure why it matters when his last name is expiring contract. We have a roster spot if we leave Kenyon out to dry a day or two.

Given the defense we play having quicker guys to run around rotating over and over is probably an asset.

There are very few guys I wouldn't take if they came with a 1st. Acquiring a 1st is a great way to use cap space in my opinion, even if it's just a late first like Portland's.

Only way I do that deals is in the very last moments before the deadline. I'd hold out hope we can do better with the cap space. If not I'd pull the trigger and cut Blake before he even realizes he got traded.

I can't imagine Portland gives up McCollum and a first for Calderon.
