With being cocky, it's more to the fact we have lost our identity. We are at our best playing slow methodical playoff style basketball. Some where along the way we have become a free style run n gun no defense minded team. We need to slow it down and grind it out on offense, late shot clock shots after all options have been examined along with in your face stingy defense. They have lost all of that and it is Definitely not something you can easily get back. The hawks are

Lou and JJ are the new kids on the block and both have a Hip Hop demeanour (cocky?) which is curious for JJ considering he comes from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Players need swag and I don't even mind pull up 3's but first they have to support the open man. They can do this so well but then have memory lapses. Ball movement makes them operate with such greater efficiency especially when it ends up an Amir bucket or JV bucket.

JJ's assists are 1.6 per game. That's brutal considering he is a decent point forward and a very good passer. Lou Williams, a pure scorer, has 1.7 assists per game which is similar to JJ adjusted for the extra minutes that he receives. Maybe Amir and Pat can have those numbers but not your wings. Ross? .9 assists. I mean Ross at the very least can pick up that part of his game. Ross to me is starting to look like Martell Webster II.

Needed to happen. When we seized that first seed, it was ridiculous the expectations we were throwing on this team. We need to play with that underdog mentality again. The mentality that shows we have so much to prove.

i am probably not the only one thinking it but Ross reminds me of bargs lots of talent but he just doesn't want it i mean how are you the best athlete on the team and have a 3 point shot but you avg 1 FTA a game watching him hurts, people held out hope for bargs because of was the 1st pick and Ross because of his 51 point game but this sucks and he has to go watching him play is like

I have a 4-month old baby girl at home (our first), and I will be the first to admit it's been WAY harder than I imagined - I now understand why sleep deprivation is an internationally recognized form of torture. I'm 100% sure that my job performance has suffered, though I am lucky that my employer is giving me some rope to work through these last few months. This time would be much harder if my job performance was broadcast across the world and hyper-analyzed by millions.

The problem is not being cocky, the problem is feeling entitled to wins. If you are leading your conference, go ahead, be as cocky as you want, but you better back that ish up.

Many people are insecure and don't like to see cocky people. But thats only because they're annoyed and jealous of their success. You can brag about your new BMW, but why would I care when I just bought a Ferrari? (Just an example)

The problem is ego whether is comes in the form of "cockiness or entitlement" it is the same problem. We can only truly succeed once you destroy your ego. Our egos limit our mind therefore our success...The Raptors "ego" gives them a false sense of greatness and makes them believe they don't need to play DEFENSE and that you can always come back from a 20 point deficit in the 4th quarter...You think the Spurs are cocky? No, they are a humble bunch, they work as a team and put aside their egos; they fully buy into their coach's teachings. Here we have won one a few games and the team must think they have a dynasty on their hands. Give me a humble team who works hard at every position and puts the team above personal stats than a cocky team who will eventually self implode because they are all about "getting theirs" on the court...Cocky people need help at the end of the day we are all human a bus will still kill a cocky person driving a sports car or the average Joe driving in his 1998 Pontiac Sunfire. We are mere mortals might as well be nice to each other and stay humble.

P.S. Lebron is humble enough to know he can't win alone hence the Miami experiment and now the Cleveland experiment.

I think Kyle has gotten over his head. But because issue is defense and our defensive philosophy. It aint working and players meeting aint going to solve that.

The times where Ross did try to drive in, he either gets stripped or runs out of options. He neither has the passing ability nor the ball handling skills to get into the paint and draw fouls.

Many issues with this team right now but the main ones, IMO, are:

- Casey's dumb rotations/inability to adjust properly;
- Ross being useless and never being held accountable - aka, guaranteed mins and a starting spot regardless of how terrible he is. I swear, he's our Bargnani. I'm starting to wonder if he's Casey's son.
