Whoa.

Friday night's game at the Verizon Center versus the Nets sure wasn't what the good guys had in mind. A listless performance by the home team. The Wizards let PG Jarret "freaking" Jack and F/C Brook Lopez go off on them. This is a bad thing.

Tonight's game at the Barclays Center marks the halfway point of the season. Sure would be nice to not lose two days in a row to a team that you should beat.

Let's meet the starting lineups.

If you're going to the game in person, please note the early start time.

What: Wizards at Nets
Where: Barclays Center -- Brooklyn, NY
When: 8:00 p.m. EST
TV: Comcast SportsNet PLUS, NBA League Pass, Quasi-legal internet streams
Radio: WNEW 99.1 FM / WFED 1500 AM

----------------------------------------------------

The good thing about the NBA is that after you lay an egg of an effort, there's another game soon to get some redemption. For YOUR Washington Wizards, that opportunity for redemption comes 24 hours after letting a substandard Eastern Conference team come into the Verizon Center and embarrass them. Will your Wizards get some revenge and restore order to the basketball universe?

Drop your thoughts, predictions, and opinions below.

Go Wizards!

people are giving our guys too much of a hard time. We truly only have 1 bad road loss and now 1 bad home loss at darn near the halfway mark. We havent lost to any bad teams besides them and we havent lost b2b to bad teams yet. We have played nearly a half season and I havent had 1 true dissapointment. Yes, the C's loss & Nets loss sucked but you arent going to go a whole year without dropping atleast 2 of those game and upwards of 4.

We just lost 3 in a row in a big test which sucks but it was 3 elite teams. We lost 2 in a row earlier but it was the Hawks & Bulls. None of that stuff is truly bad and a sign of Wiz past. Now if we lose tonight it will be the 1st time all year that we look like the past Wiz and the Nets are capable but I think our guys will be ready and keep moving forward. 29-13 after the Philly game is not bad at all. Maybe not great, all things considered but not bad and I think we all can admit that we havent seen our best ball yet

Not related to the game thread, but I'm sitting here watching the little bits of basketball in between time outs of the UVA vs . BC game . Man, college bball has become unwatchable with all the breaks in action. Having said that, Virginia is pretty spectacularly poised and plays GREAT defense.

Bennett- great coach, even better person,

If the Wizards aspire top be an elite team, they can't be having games like last night. They lack a killer mentality that wants to drop a 20 point loss on their opponent every night.

Let's drop a big loss on these guys. I want the Wiz to win by 25.

At least by 22 to avenge the loss from last night, but I'll be happy with a win.

Gortat is bringing the energy, you could tell he was visibly upset after last night's loss.

Some really bone headed plays and turnovers. John needs to get more involved.

Return to Washington Wizards
