He tweeted it the same day as the Austin Rivers trade so most likely meant to direct it more clearly to his outgoing teammates.

However, that article and some Clippers forum posters think it's fishy...and with things looking off in LAC maybe he is about to get dealt before he hits free agency.

Weird. I thought that Doc was infatuated with Jordan.

Who would you guys rather keep: ersan or duds? The obvious answer seems to be ersan but I may lean duds based on chemistry and contract.

Ty Lawson & Aron Aflalo for Dudley, John Henson, Middleton, & the Nuggets right to swap 1st round pick between their pick & the pick that is due to the Bucks from the Clippers. Swap choice would be Nuggets once Clippers pick is set to be conveyed and exact draft order is known.

Apparently we could also keep Middleton if we include our own 1st round pick (not our 2015 1st though) instead of Middleton. That's in addition to the previously mentioned right to swap

Now I'm told that we would include Ersan instead of Dudley, and the right for the Nuggets to swap 1sts is OUT. And Caspi has been added to the deal being discussed as well. Apparently the Clippers are now part of this deal being discussed

Thinking about where the Clippers might fit into this deal as well. Maybe Afflalo heads there?

Would anyone Jordan if it didn't cost us a lot?

I'll give them duds and their pick back :)

Imagine Giannis, a healthy parker and Jordan. Dunk city.

Yeah at this point if we have the chance to get off the roller coaster that is Ersan's level of production at that contract and get real value back we need to take it. I think Ersan can contribute somewhere, but only at a place that can afford to live with his hot and cold runs. That's just not us, not at his current price.

I say no. I thought we wanted a center who actually had offensive ability? That's what half this board sh*ts on Larry and Henson for lol?

I'd stick with the Triumvirate (Zaza, Henson & Larry) vs. acquiring Jordan.

Well truth be told I'd hold out for the 2015 MIL rather than wait for the 2017 LAC pick. I'd be happy to keep AA, I think we can still flip him for a #1.

So are you coming around that Lawson may be traded? Yesterday you were hating in me for it.

Certainly ANYTHING is possibly but not what you put up in the Trades thread...still, it's got to be a good trade for the Nuggets ...and the swapping of picks, knew that wasn't happening...but I guess that was supposed to be for the 2017 picks as it now appears

And you "insiders". be honest now, how often do their prognostications materialize ??

If GAD is right that we'd be including Ersan instead of Dudley that would be great news in my book.

We may lose Dudley for nothing but Ersan just hasn't been able to stay on the court for us. And we can't have a starting PF coming off an ACL injury and an unreliable backup next season.

Wondering if Ilyasova would be going to the Nuggets or to a team like the Kings or Clippers in these potential scenarios.

Not sure what the Clippers would want for Jordan, but Henson might be especially enticing for them since he'd give them time before having to put another big contract on the books.

Hard to see them valuing Ersan considering they already bankrolled Hawes. But who knows what Doc is doing in general over there.

I don't think LAC is involved. GAD meant SAC and it auto-corrected to LAC.

I don't see any of these deals happening.

Seems like there would need to be a lot of consecutive moves after as well. We would be heavy on guards and low on big men. Just don't see it.

Like I said before, something like Stauskas/Thompson for Ilaysova/LAC 1st would be a great move for this year and the future.

Thoughts?

So the Nuggets trade their starting backcourt, including the league leader in APG and an all-star level PG...for three scrubs and a crappy pick? What is the logic there?

Even if they were going for a pure salary dump they could get more than this. Hell, the deal they got for Mozgov is better than this package.

That was the deal the Nuggets RealGM Forum Mod (The Rebel) suggested actually...

Insofar as Mozgoz is concerned I don't think the league considers him a baseline for value considering how uniquely desperate the Cavs are.

AS I said I am not as high on Lawson as many other Nuggets fans, and last I checked my opinion is just an opinion like the rest of the posters on the board.

I'd like to get Lawson and have very little interest in Afflalo. I'd rather just keep Middleton over Afflalo.

I don't think you can win consistently with him in the rotation. offensively he runs to hot and cold and defensively hes too easy to take advantage of as well.

lets save some money. hes the first one that should be headed off(besides sanders of course)

Not at all. Just added the clippers part, but found out that the tweet was saying goodbye to his teammates that got traded.
