Lmao at Suns fans. Every thread they overvalue their players. This is laughable for Chicago.

Re: Noah to Suns
Suns say NO
Noah is an incredible player but the Suns aren't trading the first legitimate big man prospect they've had in 60 years
They're hoping that Len will eventually develop into a Noah like center or someone with elite two way capability. They're looking down the line to 2017. Not this year
It might be a different story if Noah were younger and didn't have all his injury concerns and high minutes wear over the years
But again, this is a better trade than most of the **** I've seen here.

No it means the Suns fans have some attachment to their players. This will be overwhelming viewed as a steal for the Suns by the board as a whole.
Only if the board chooses to look at Len versus Noah as current players. Obviously Noah wins in the short term. In two years what is the winning situation if the trade was made? Noah leaves the Suns for some other team while the Bulls match any offer for the RFA Alex Len. No way is that a steal for the Suns ... nor is it homerism by Suns fans. It would be nice if folks took the big picture into account.

Re: Noah to Suns
You guys have no idea about how Len is playing this season... But eventually you will understand why the Suns fans didn't want that trade.

That is because most posters on this board have no clue how well Len has been playing. There was a reason why he was a top 5 pick in the draft and he looks like he can be just as good as a prime Andrew Bogut. Noah on the other hand is about to turn 30 and has not looked good this season. I think he will eventually get back to his old self but the age gap and the fact that Len is playing so well makes this trade idea a non starter for the suns.
This person gets it.

He may not be better than Noah right now, but are you aware he's 2nd in the league in blocks per game behind Anthony Davis since becoming a starter? He's pulling down 10 boards a game too. The Suns are also 12-4 over the last 16. Len's also on a rookie deal for 2 more years after this one. It just doesn't make any sense.

Re: Noah to Suns
I don't like this for either team. The Suns are years away from contending and Noah doesn't significantly improve them enough to give up a promising piece.
As for the Bulls they'd be giving up the best player in the trade for a guy who has had injuries issues and played well for two months. Both teams pass.

I haven't see the Suns this year and didn't really like anyone from Len's draft so mine was a genuine statement...I need to see them play.

This place is insufferable.

Re: Noah to Suns
Trying to be objective i'd say the Suns should jump on this deal in a heartbeat. Alex Len is fine, but lets not pretend that his 6pts/6rbs in 20 mins as a backup is anything special and the idea that "Len can be Noah with offensive game" is flat out ridiculous. People seem to have forgotten that Noah's dropped 12.6ppg, 11.3rpg, 5.4 apg (!), 1.5bpg and 1.2spg while earning DPOY last season.
Tucker is a dime-a-dozen 3s and D wing, which you can find in free agency.
Chicago shouldn't do this deal, at all. If they're willing to move Noah+McBuckets they could do a hell of a lot better than Len and Tucker.

Clearly another person who hasn't actually watched Len play recently. He's opened a lot of eyes since we moved him into the starting lineup several weeks ago. We saw very little from him last season, even when he got the minutes. He wasn't all that impressive early in this season either but his improvement since than has been astounding. There are very few Suns fans that don't expect Len to become our best player in a year or two (maybe 3). He's still not all that close to the player Noah has been but he's positively impacting the game almost every night and his potential is exciting. But perhaps even more importantly, if Noah was still the Noah of last year, no way does Chicago even consider this deal.

First of all, i dont think Chicago would even remotely consider that deal. Much less include McBuckets in the deal.
But you're right, I haven't watched Len play all that much since he was moved into the starting lineup several weeks ago. WEEKS AGO? So based on a recent hot-streak (which it may be) Len is suddently a sure thing going forward? I think that's a bit of a stretch.
To me, the Suns' window is NOW and Noah would be a perfect fit with Dragic, Bledsoe and Wright. All they would need is a defensive wing but with the assets they have - including the Lakers' picks (sudden nausea hitting me while i write) they could be contenders as early as next season.

Re: Noah to Suns
Alex Len, in 8 games in January (the best half month of his career obviously):
8.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 2.88 blocks.
Based on those 8 games, he will be better then Dream. Just imagine when he's playing 35 minutes a game!

Are you sure? Unbiased aside.
Noah is about to be 30
Len just turned 21
The starting stats are similar.

Noah has been awful since returning from injury. Bulls fans have been complaining about him on their forum for a while now.

The Suns window is not now, we're really not that close even with Noah. Bledsoe has star potential but it's still just potential, he's not there yet. He needs a lot of offseason work on his mid-range and outside shot and he needs to continue working on protecting his dribble. Besides that, we are the 4th youngest team in the league and many times we play even younger than that. I think we're at least 2 years away from having a core that can contend (if it even happens) but Len is a big part of why we might get there. The Noah of last season would probably put us in the playoffs this season but it still wouldn't be enough to get us all the way IMO.
I love what Len can become but I'll say it again, Chicago only makes this deal if they have concerns over Noah's future because of injury (or just wear and tear). And if they are concerned you can bet the Suns front office would be concerned too. The flip side is also true. Len has already had stress fracture surgery on both ankles. We only make this deal if we think we have a better chance of keeping Noah healthy than we do of keeping Len up and running. So either way, it's just not happening IMO.
