EDIT- Hammer scored more than our entire starting five in that game

If I remember correctly, he had some crazy streak where he missed like 25+ straight shots (over the course of several games, of course). It was a big joke around these parts. I can't remember when the streak ended -- hell, maybe it never ended.

Holy hell this is pathetic. He was 0-31 in 18 games from Jan 14 until March 21, 2006. I almost feel like apologizing to Ben Gordon about all the **** I've said about him

guys ahead of him in longest streaks without a field goal made:

Mario West (30 **** games!!!), Michael Ruffin, Felton Spencer, LaSalle Thompson.

Don't think Hendo got enough praise for this game tonight. He looked like the best offensive player on the floor on a day where he was questionable due to the flu.

Also, I think Roberts and Neal on the floor at game end offers the benefit of 2 x 85% free throw shooters, so I can see Cliff inserting Neal with a 2 pt lead, 30 secs left and the ball. That's why I was pissed when Neal launched that inexcusable 3, in that scenario he or Roberts have got to get themselves to the foul line!!

Cliff raved about Neal being high IQ in the post-game. I agree he's versatile but he often does the wrong thing with his IQ. He's a chucker and that in and of itself reduces IQ points.

which game was that? do you remember anything more about it?

I'd love to find the boxscore of this.

i am having trouble finding the game, but i know it happened. the trick is finding the few games that felton missed and looking at those boxscores, but i cant figure out a why to find the games where felton didnt play. there are only a handful of games felton missed.

As close as I can find

NICE. yup, that's the game. the boxscore lists him at a forward, but it was definitely crash who was playing the role of point guard that night. wallace brought the ball up the court and initiated the offense. i went to that game. almost beat a good pistons team. good times.

IIRC, Zach Lowe actually thought we would compete for homecourt advantage.
Humble yourself.

not really. Simmons said we're a David West trade away from contending while Zach was trying to calm him down.

I should clarify that by homecourt advantage I just meant top-4 seed.

Dal beat Vancouver shooting 27.7% in 1995. Made 26 shots, 9 were threes. They shot 47.4% from threes and made 33 free throws which helped. They scored 94 points.

Vancouver shot 41.8%.

Didn't get to watch much but last couple minutes of regulation and OT.

I think it is rather funny that:

We can't win without Al, we have.
We can't win without Kemba, we did.
We can't win with Lance, we did (short term).

Just a weird random game.

Lance got benched for like the final 12 minutes. It's almost safe to say we won without him last night too. I hope Cliff let Lance get extended minutes in the next game tho. I really would like to see how he plays as the man on our team.

I'll play Devils advocate...we were up 6 when Lance went out. Maybe if he stays in, we don't need OT

I don't think he claimed that either. But, what the hell, I might be wrong. I guess we could look it up.

I'm pretty sure he had us no better than last year. So 7th seed to lottery.
