I hope Dougie is back for this one.

Must win for Bullies since the Cavs stole one early in the season.

pau has to have a big scoring night....and for the love of god can someone please keep Thompson off the offensive boards...our guards will have to do well defensively...we need the old school gibson to handle thompson and get about 14 rebound and 4 blocks

This is the type of win that would strike fear...

Hey, wait a minute. :eek2:

This is where we find out if all the fear we have built up actually pays off.

We have to win this game and make a statement.
Looking forward to Derrick/Butler vs. Kyrie/James matchup.
We'll see another lockdown jimmy and mad rose once again.
We MUST win this!

Given our defense has been the 2nd worst in the league in the last 2 weeks, this is going to be an interesting game. We could potentially be blown out here if we don't turn up defensively.

I'm just glad this game ain't at the UC, we may have a chance to actually win.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

This will be the worst loss of the season. As dysfunctional and as much of a disarray as the Cavaliers franchise is in, they'll still easily handle us. At least we're not at home. We can't win at home. On the road, we have a better chance. It hurts my heart to lose to the Lebron and the Bronnettes.

This will be the type of loss that puts hope in the heart of Lebron. :(
After Rose broke both his knees, I gave up on the hope that we'd make it to the NBA Finals again. It will probably be decades before we see another championship. Hello Treadmill, here we come.

It's the shoes!

Rose doesn't watch basketball anymore. Hmmm. I know Lebron says he watches a ton.

"I haven't been watching basketball other than hearing about it from my friends," Rose said. "When I'm at home, I don't watch other games. I just try to relax and watch other things."

...
"Make everything tough for him," Jimmy Butler said when asked about James, his matchup. "Everybody knows he's a hell of a player. I think as long as we play team basketball, team defense, we'll be all right."

"They're winning games now," Butler said. "They have a lot of great players, great scorers on that team. So we're definitely going to have to man up and play some defense.''

Kevin Love missed the Clippers game with a sore back but practiced Sunday and is questionable for Monday.

"They're a talented team," Rose said. "They have three good players and a good cast with them. They play well together. We just have to make sure the defense is there. The offense, I could care less about that. It's defense and competing."

Does anyone have confidence of us actually winning games anymore? At least it's on the road but this team has been a trainwreck lately. If they couldn't get up to play a team on a 11 game winning streak at home, I don't see them being able to win this game either. In this recent 2-5 stretch, it's been a combination of Jimmy Butler coming down to earth (or just having a bad stretch) and horrible pick and roll defense. Thankfully the Cavs are more of an isolation oriented team which should help us some.

I don't feel the rivalry here anymore. With Miami, this team was riled up, ready to go to war. With Cleveland? It seems more subdued. In fact, the Bulls have seemed subdued overall period. As someone else mentioned, this team doesn't have that chip on its shoulder anymore. I expect us to get crushed. Lebron still has an ego and he's heard all the early predictions about the Bulls winning the East. That can't sit well with him. He'll be up for this game.

Really beginning to sour on this team. It's sad that I'm not near as excited as I normally am to face top notch teams. The lack of effort from the bulls for 80% of the game is really disappointing. I'm not asking them to go balls to the wall every game, but at least come out sharp against elite teams. Normally, I would be edgy all day when it comes to playing LBJ. Oh well, still hoping for a much needed win tonight.
