Born and raised in Chicago much more of allegiance to Rose than the Bulls. I'm a bulls fan but more of a fan of Rose. He's everything that's right about Chicago.

It will be interesting how fans will truly feel about Rose if he were to test free agency once his contract expires leaving a considerable amount of doubt that he will return to Chicago. ...much like what the Knick fans went through with Melo (and he had his own love/hate thing going on with the fans).

Fans have already showed their feelings on Rose. I hope Derrick leaves and prospers elsewhere. It would be awesome.

And the same thing will happen if Rose tends to do the same things he tends to do here

What has he done here? Won an MVP and then got injured? Didn't come back on your timeline? He hasn't done anything seemingly but bust his ass to be the best player he could be and that's still not good enough for fickle fans.

Depends on which team Rose would hypothetically play for and the fan base while the Bulls would be in the frustrating position of not being good enough to be a serious playoff contenders. ..nor bad enough to get a top pick in the draft.

That Derrick Rose has given us hope that they can win a NBA Championship. Not Noah...who is a vital piece. Not Butler although he has emerged as the second go to scorer despite his recent slump. Not Gasol who like Noah is a critical piece of the puzzle. Derrick Rose...who the board appear to be fixated on...even the negative.

But what is the team, really, other than a collection of players? I personally don't think I could be more than a casual fan if I didn't have some affinity for the players, and in particular the star player. It's not like I get paid when the Bulls win.

Just amazing that a guy doesn't want to take his work home with him. Are judges supposed to go home and watch court TV or doctors supposed to sit at home and watch er? Talk about cherrypicking. It would be easy to bring up a bunch of quotes of Rose talking like he gives plenty of ****s. In this same interview, he talked about chasing his dream of an NBA championship.

Anyway, Rose has mentioned that he watched more games than ever during his rehab last season, so maybe he just wants to do something different with his free time now. Even the biggest fans among us don't feel like watching some bum teams play every night.

I think this is going to be a L...But im not concerned. I think we are still without 2 starters and Derrick is still working his way to be a difference maker...Jimmy is in a shooting slump and we are playing Hinrich too damn much (recipe for disaster).

Cleveland is playing a bit better and Lebron seems to be back and caring more about his team.

BTW just look at Derricks vs Kyrie Numbers...Pretty much the same...I was surprised considering all the struggles he had in the season.

KYRIE: 21 PPG, 38 MPG 5.1 APG , 3.1 RPG, 19.48 PER

ROSE: 18.0 PPG, 29 MPG, 5.2 APG, 3.1 RPG, 16.91 PER

Except one is shooting .564 TS% and the other .504 TS%
