It will be interesting how fans will truly feel about Rose if he were to test free agency once his contract expires leaving a considerable amount of doubt that he will return to Chicago. ...much like what the Knick fans went through with Melo (and he had his own love/hate thing going on with the fans).

Fans have already showed their feelings on Rose. I hope Derrick leaves and prospers elsewhere. It would be awesome.

And the same thing will happen if Rose tends to do the same things he tends to do here

This happens everywhere lets not act only bulls fans do this but if you think its only bulls fans ur in for a rude awakening lol

The Bulls wouldn't be as relevant without Michael Jordan and later Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson.

You could say that about every team who's had that franchise changing player. If you're a fan of the Bulls, it should be for the team. Players are in and out, its still a business.

And I am thankful for them and I continued to be a fan after they left

So what is your point with this because you can say this stuff about pretty much every team in the NBA because they all have certain players that made them who they are

What has he done here? Won an MVP and then got injured? Didn't come back on your timeline? He hasn't done anything seemingly but bust his ass to be the best player he could be and that's still not good enough for fickle fans.

Depends on which team Rose would hypothetically play for and the fan base while the Bulls would be in the frustrating position of not being good enough to be a serious playoff contenders. ..nor bad enough to get a top pick in the draft.

Not looking forward to watching Mozgov drop 43 on us. Wouldn't be surprised to see him shoot 20-21 from the field. And Mike Miller will probably find the fountain of youth and hit 12 consecutive three's against us.

Great thing is Mozgov can't shoot past 8 feet so maybe Pau can contain him. The three guys I can see going off tonight are Thompson, Irving and believe it or not JR.

That Derrick Rose has given us hope that they can win a NBA Championship. Not Noah...who is a vital piece. Not Butler although he has emerged as the second go to scorer despite his recent slump. Not Gasol who like Noah is a critical piece of the puzzle. Derrick Rose...who the board appear to be fixated on...even the negative.

It's fandom. Last summer this was Jo's team he was the heart and would now many are pushing for his exit. It's sad.

But what is the team, really, other than a collection of players? I personally don't think I could be more than a casual fan if I didn't have some affinity for the players, and in particular the star player. It's not like I get paid when the Bulls win.

Just play some freaking defense and win this game so we all don't go into full blown meltdown mode.

I'll have a few drinks in me either way from the Dubs game, should ease the pain if thing's don't go our way.
14 years is a nice run but it's time to end the Paxson era.

I hope Tony Snell gets some time even though McDermott is back tonight.
I hate it when we play with 3 guards, and Tony could give Jimmy a rest from guarding LeBron.

From KC Johnson's twitter:

#Bulls featuring same starters at shootaround. Rose, Hinrich, Butler, Gibson, Gasol.

#Dunleavy said he has started running but still isn't without pain every time he does so. Is getting up shots and riding bike daily.

#Rose, on how he feels at halfway point: "I feel great man. I think my game is coming along. I’ve been working very hard."

Also, in the Tribune blog, it says that Noah's MRI did not reveal "anything funky"

Glad to hear that our star player isn't letting basketball get in the way of his stories. Phew.

Just amazing that a guy doesn't want to take his work home with him. Are judges supposed to go home and watch court TV or doctors supposed to sit at home and watch er? I'm sure he watches film with the team and preparation for their next opponent. What's the issue? Seriously? Finding fault in everything he says is getting ridiculous.

This is where I wish I could put the sound of a car screeching to a halt on here. JUST WAIT. This is so wrong. He is not a judge or a Doctor. He is playing a game. A game he supposedly loves. A game he played for free for many, many years before becoming a pro. I sideline as a musician. I can't imagine ever "not listening to music" no matter how much time I spent playing it and how much money I made doing it. You watch basketball games for fun, right? Assuming you like basketball, that is. If it were just this comment it wouldn't be called out. But this. Plus talking being healthy for his kid's future graduation as if he was an offensive lineman or a running back on an NFL team. Plus insinuating he just tunes Thibs out anymore. Plus having to be 110% to play. I could go on and on.

I'm not saying Rose doesn't give a ****. I am saying he talks like he doesn't give a ****.

Talk about cherrypicking. It would be easy to bring up a bunch of quotes of Rose talking like he gives plenty of ****s. In this same interview, he talked about chasing his dream of an NBA championship.

Anyway, Rose has mentioned that he watched more games than ever during his rehab last season, so maybe he just wants to do something different with his free time now. Even the biggest fans among us don't feel like watching some bum teams play every night.

Cleveland is playing a bit better and Lebron seems to be back and caring more about his team.

BTW just look at Derricks vs Kyrie Numbers...Pretty much the same...I was surprised considering all the struggles he had in the season.
