That win puts us at 17-25. Considering the Eastern Conference doesn't look very strong and adding how effective we've been this month, we could easily get up to the 5 or 4 seed. I am really excited about how good MKG, Zeller, Biz and Kemba could look in a few years if we stick with them! Also, do people still think of Gerald Henderson as below average and replaceable?

Hendo is a good player, but he is highly replaceable and most replacements will be better 3-point threats. I'm thinking he's going to opt out and move on, which is best for both parties.

We are extremely lucky we've faced Indiana and Minny with Kemba out, because any decent team would've destroyed us the other night, and today's game would have been a ton closer against a half decent opponent. Lucky for us Roberts, Hairston, Lance, and even Neal stepped up

Just like last year. Injuries have made Cliff play the right lineups. The basketball gods have been kind to us these past 2 years. Otherwise Cliff would run his stubborn rotations into a burial ground. We're likely gonna have a similar turnaround as last year after the light has been seen.

I sure hope Hendo opts out. We have very little wiggle room for improvement if Al opts in. The last thing I want to do is walk into the season next year with the exact same roster.

Day-to-day. Wouldn't be surprised if he play the next game against Miami or when we go on the road to Cleveland on Friday. Also wouldn't be surprised if he sit those 2 games and return the following game after those 2 at home. Definitely won't come off the bench in his return.

Just accept the blessing in disguise. When Lance got hurt I was happy because I was starting to see him as a better fit in the 6th man role with Roberts and them. When Al got hurt I was happy because it would make Cliff see that Biz is more than just a burden that he's forced to play because Cho drafted him so high. When Neal got hurt I was happy to see it, and the list go on. When MKG got hurt it showed Cliff how important he is to our defense. Even with Kemba getting hurt it is showing Cliff that Biz and MKG defense can keep us in games.

It's funny that Al was supposed to play like 15 minutes and ended up with 25. Hope he stays on the 2nd unit indefinitely. It should be Biz' spot to lose.

Yeah, the other night when Lance was bringing energy to the team against Indiana, Cliff used the excuse that he didn't play Lance any at the end or in overtime because he was working his way back into game shape. Sorry coach, but he was in better shape than Al is so I would love to hear the reasoning for 25 minutes

Al was probably lobbying him for minutes. Biz lit a fire under his fat ass.

Probably so, or maybe Cliff is trying to burn him back out so he doesn't have to play him.

I also believe Cliff doesn't trust Lance in close games because Lance tries to take over and doesn't really have his groove this year to do that. He's in an unfamiliar system and ends up botching plays.

Al had the 3rd worst +/- on the team today. Only Taylor and Vonleh were lower

Yeah teams go right at the paint and it opens up the 3 point line. Thankfully it was the 2nd unit and the T-Wolves. All those 4th quarter leads vaporized. We were getting demoralized by terrible teams and lit up by scrubs.

cliff discussed this in the post-game interview. al was on target for about 15 minutes tonight, but the blowout allowed clifford to give al those extra minutes to help get his conditioning improved, same for lance. al would not have played 25 minutes if the game was close.

Guys ?
Really...?

You are ALL THE TIMES trying to bash Clifford for something... If Al played 25 min today, it's because we killed them with a 30 point lead... and Al got the Garbage Time minutes.

You really can't compare this game to the Indiana Game, and make assumption on how many minutes should have had Lance.

I mean... really, give the coach a break... He's been doing good lately !

A minutes limit due to health concerns is just that. A blowout don't make it any less likely he won't strain something going over the minutes limit. Cliff is full of sh*t but he's a half decent coach and better than the other crap we had.

The minutes limit was due to conditioning, not for fear of reinjury - same for lance. best way to improve conditioning is to play. being up 30 points in the 4th allowed clifford to play al w/out having to worry of the downside of al's poor conditioning costing us.

seems people just want to crap on clifford for anything and everything, even after a 30 point win, a 2 game winning streak and winning 7 of last 8.
