He is shooting 45% in the D-League and ONLY FIFTY PERCENT from the line. 16-32 in 5 games is not acceptable for ANY guard, especially one who's game is built on speed, slashing and drawing contact.
For a league with bloated stats, efficiency is what he should be working on - only 7-20 on 3s as well isn't flash.
He might be another DJ Strawberry; that elusive blend of talent, promise, youth and athleticism - but just never gets it all together.
Voicing like he did is not acceptable, questioning the organisation is NOT the way to endear yourself to your coach or your GM or the franchise in general. Keep your head down, keep dropping 25-30 points, playing good D and play hard at training.
The dude is 20.
He literally has one big game against the Kings and one big dunk on Jonas. There are hints and tastes of what he CAN do, but he can't do them at the NBA level on a consistent basis - if he could, you can't tell me Hornacek wouldn't have seen it during practive and wouldn't be playing him like he has with Len.
TONS of players are annoyed and frustrated with their minutes I'm sure, what makes him so special? I hate Plumlee asking for a trade when the team is winning because that's as selfish as you can get in a team sport, but at least he has a full season as a starter under his belt.
Look at his D-league stats, he has REGRESSED in every stat:

The only thing he's improved is his build and cutting his turnover rate a lot. Where are the improved assist numbers? The improved outside shot? The improved rebounding and defensive stats? They simply aren't there.
Get better and then expect a call up, cos at the moment he's just whining and coming off like the 20 year millionaire he is.
