recruiting for private dfs group

Post#1 » by DaddyBigD » Wed Jan 21, 2015 10:23 am

im here to recruit one or more people to team with for dfs research. I feel that nobody knows the intricacies of a team better than a fan that lives in the same city. as a Portland resident I feel I have the edge over 99.9% of the nba community in regards to MY team the trailblazers. for example with LaMarcus Aldridge potentially missing several games due to a hand injury, I know Thomas Robinson is NOT a lock to absorb extra minutes. stotts is not afraid to give Meyers Leonard, Victor claver, Dorell Wright or even Nicolas batum time ay pf. the uncertainty and minimal boost any of these players will receive aren't enough for me to roster them. Damien, nic, kamwn, and wes might not get Aldridge's minutes, but they are the ones that will get his shotattempts.

anyway

I'm looking to get a couple people from each nba city that are playing dfs regularly. I play everyday and squeak out a small profit, but the research involved is relentless and time consuming. to get the most accurate team analysis all in one place would REALLY be a help, for everyone that is allowed in the group.

ok so ideally we'd have 2-3 members for all 30 teams and everyone would be required to make a daily entry with the following information:
predicated minutes distribution, and any abnormal statistic predictions. i.e. "today on the local radio show player x said he's going to look for his shot tonight" or "player y on the opposing team ALWAYS kills us look for him to possible have above average game"

Hi, I am a devote Lakers fan and I think I have the necessary qualifications to join your group. I understand it will be very competitive, and I hope you will accept my application.

Below, I will give you some free tips to prove my worth. Take these to the heart and may the brilliance of b-scott be with you:

Carlos Boozer is a very underrated defender and will soon be a great source of blocks. While he has not gotten many blocks in his career, he is actually one of the best defenders in the game, and the advanced stats prove it. Once Jordan Hill gets traded, Boozer will break out and average 5 blocks a game. Be ready to take him in the 1st-3rd round if necessary, he will be worth it. DO NOT GO ON THE OPINION ON BOOZER THREAD, IT IS FULL OF LIARS.

Wesley Johnson should be averaging 10 assists a game. He is the smartest player on the team, and you can tell by watching Laker games. He is a great ball handler, and he would be averaging a lot more assists if his teammates didn't suck. We the fans are constantly complaining about Wesley Johnson not being the point guard. He will definitely be a first round candidate soon, and will be an absolute steal in the 2nd round so make sure he's on your watch list.

Ryan Kelly is going to be the next Dwight Howard. I know, I know, but he's white! If you watch the games however, you will see that he is deceptively athletic, and he is one of the best post up big men in the league. I think Zach Lowe wrote at one point that Kelly was 3rd in points scored on post ups. However, he is going to be Dwight Howard in every sense. You'll have to watch out for his ft shooting, because while he is doing okay so far, he won't make nearly as many fts when opponents start hacking him. You will be fine picking him in the 5th round.

Well that's it for me, hope you accept my application.
