James Harden is the MVP

Post#1 » by BallLikeYao » Wed Jan 21, 2015 2:25 am

He could literally get a triple double every night but would rather relax. Its hard to win MVP when the competition can play 2 positions at once. Curry has no chance, even though he's the media princess this year.

The Real Top 3 MVP List:
1.Harden
2.LeBron
3.Westbrook

they managed to keep their recrod with both lee and bogut out for basically the first two months of hte season. rockets cant ge ta win without harden having a monster game which means the "playbook" or "gameplan" isnt much different from last years despite all the depth. its just been reprted today that dwight's knee problem isnt getting better anytime soon. rockets no longer have a 2nd option for what looks like until march or late feb.

players aren't gassed anymore, harden and ariza were getting 40minutes. now in january ariza is at 29 and harden 32 or 33.
most of the defense relied on dwight's inside prescense. with him at 60 or 70% the defense will go down to average.
and brewer's 3pt shooting fluke with the rockets is over. hes back to shooting his career average 29% from three

rockets are in trouble but the two trades should keep them from sinking out of the playoff seedings till dwight gets healthy and hopefully they find a way to get everyone involved in the offense

Mchale's rotation is questionable....there is absolutely no reason why canaan shouldn't be playing....if anything, he should get more minutes than terry. Papa should also be getting more playing time. I hope when TJ comes back, we will see less of Smith, but who knows what Mchale will do.

You don't realize how impressive the Warriors have been if you think the Rockets are as good as them right now, much less "infinitely better." Best defense in the league to go along with a top 3 offense…great balance and depth…blowing every team away in point differential. As arrogant as many Warriors fans can be on the GB, I'm not going to diminish their team's success or make silly excuses after they stomp us with both home court and rest in our favor. The Rockets have the ability to reach the Warriors level depending on what they do at the trade deadline and if they can start dominating on a more consistent level, but right now we are not the better team by any objective measure.

At this point the Warriors are better defensively and are playing great, but they aren't the first team to start the season this well. It's a long season but the Warriors are formidable.

rockets depend on harden so much that he's the leagues highest scorer at 27.1ppg, which is 1.1ppg ahead of the 2nd highest scorer LEBRON JAMES! hopefully jones has a fast transition

Pretty pathetic posts by this realgm forum. Because I know none of you read further than the title the Rockets have lead the Warriors till the 4th when they eventually got gassed. Recent game was the only poor performance against them, we should beat them today with the team healthy again.

That...yeah. Kerr may be Coach of The Year his rookie year coaching.

Anyhow.....Welcome to the ORACLE...where the energy gets crazy and GSW just does not lose. The Rox have a good team. It does not match up real well with GSW. If tonight proves me wrong... congratulations (I don't go out on a limb if I have doubts) It was interesting to se MotieJunas has improved. GSW has so much depth.. however......

I'd have quoted this one just for the HOMER. If I am arrogant...SCUSE ME but GSW fans have had NO moment to gloat since...well..long before there was an internet. We don't know HOW to be graceful about it. Something most folks miss.. is that GSW does a 10-11 man rotation...and the Bench is stocked with guys who'd done well..STARTING. If GSW was playing the Sixers or Knicks.. they could probably park the starters and still win.

A few days ago.. the GSW "end of the bench" guys.. stretched the lead to 43 vs Denver. It's really not just Splash Brothers making 3's. The NBA is DIFFERENT. NOW... the 3...Zone D (done well) and DEPTH... matter more than before. GSW and ATL... got the jump on everyone. Meanwhile the Knicks plan...famous expensive mercenaries... ain't looking good. Some fads just don't pass the test.

Enjoy the game. It will be interesting.

Infinity is a concept that is truly difficult to grasp. Most see the word "Infinity" and just think that it just means endless counting...but do you start at zero? If so then you have one boundary immediately just with the concept of zero. Also, linear counting is so...well, linear! There are ever so many directions in which one may go, and that is just based upon our own limited perspective of how we can perceive the universe. Infinity is a daunting concept, and utterly fascinating. One which we may never truly comprehend.

But that doesn't really matter here. The only number that matters here is "3." They got it, we don't. Hope to get "1" tonight. We'll deal with Infinity later.
