I assume you just didn't look it up and don't remember but Al missed two preseason games with ankle soreness. I agree though that Lance seemed to have a more limiting injury than just lingering soreness from a procedure at the beginning of the offseason.

I did not remember that. I do not remember him ever hurting it so was it a weight thing? To much pressure on it while lumbering around. I just do not recall him twisting it durning a game or anything.

I assume you recall him getting injured in the playoff series against Miami and then needing surgery in the offseason, right? It was kind of a big deal.

I assume you recall that was not his ankle but plantar fasciitis which is not in your ankle but bottom of the foot. Since it was kind of a big deal. Also he was supposed to be ready to work on the foot by mid summer at latest and there are plenty of ways to keep in shape without pressure on the foot. Fat and lazy was the issue not injury.

He had ankle surgery this offseason. You asked why he missed preseason games. Didn't think it was controversial to point out that his offseason ankle surgery was related to the missed games he had in preseason due to ankle soreness. I'm legitimately confused here.

You cited it as the injury from late last year which would have nothing to do with an ankle. I cannot find anything on ankle surgery this summer. I know he mentioned possibly needing it during the season last year but I cannot find record of it happening. I can find where they said he should have been 100% four weeks after playoffs with 2 weeks or rest the two on the bike.

If you want to say it is an ankle then fine but don't get all high and mighty about me forgetting about his playoff injury, which I did not, when that had absolutely nothing to do with an ankle.

Weird, I could have sworn he had ankle surgery but now I can't find it either. My bad, maybe I'm just really wrong cause what I'm reading from back in May / June says you're right. I feel like I read that his ankle soreness in October was tied in to previous ankle issues but maybe I'm just making stuff up in my mind.

Big Al had arthritis in his ankle since he was 6 years old. Lol. Bonnell blunder tho. Since '06.

No I did find something that said he was thinking he needed it but I could never find where he actually did it. In an interview he talks about getting no lift off his right ankle and he was thinking surgery. Lets be honest Al couldn't get lift with a crane no matter what his ankles felt like though.

I think the ankle issue is a recurring one but I would put money on the fact it is worse because he refuses to work to get in better shape and drop some pounds. What scares me most about Al is if he hurt his knee. At his age with his lack of work ethic that would completely end a career. If you extend him and he blows out a knee it will be a Sean May thing where he never gets healthy again because he weighs too much to get there.

You need to chill with those harsh words old man.

Let me start off by saying this, I do have appreciation the vocabulary you busted out; priori, goofy collision, and sacktapped. Good stuff

However, if you have slapped like yourself like that during a game, it would look exactly as stupid as that showed. Regarding both of those flops, both were pretty bad, but at least PJ got up instantly and didn't sag and pout like a little b*tch.

I'll chill when you point out one harsh word in my post. PJ had to get up instantly, he nearly knocked coach Popp over like a bowling ball. I'm not an old man, I wasn't born in Africa.

Oh wow.. BrotherDave I feel like such an idiot right now  . I misinterpreted your first sentence. My apologizes to you, sir.
And when I referred to you as old man, it was only based on the fact that you joined here early than I, so no offense was meant.

But yeah, Popp looked down at PJ like WTF? and probably said "Kid, If you don't get your ass off of my foot right now, I'm gonna put it up there!"

Lol, whew. For a second I thought I was getting so good at pissing people off I was doing it without trying. Kudos.

:D :D :D I really like AL,but I think if you asked him the one thing he wants more than anything is an NBA Championship Ring.
I wonder if GOS would send us LEE/Speights for AL and Marvin?

If you guys wanted to fully blow it up you have good trade chips. Al Jefferson is a really good big man and you could definitely get value out of him

Trading Al Jefferson would be the total opposite of blowing up this operation. At this point, it would be like revitalizing the rebuild and making addition by subtraction

The negative aura that fill this board is because we've failed to meet our expectations of being better than last season's team despite having over $20 million in cap space, two 1st rounders with one being a lottery pick, and etc.

So far this season has been disappointing, but the silver lining is that we're not out of the playoff picture
