We're also not in position to tank, unless we shut Wade down for the year, and at this point doing something like that is an invitation for him to walk after next season.

We are what we are, an average team trying to eek out a couple more decent seasons from the end of Wade's career. That said, tanking guarantees nothing, and we're too far ahead of the realllly bad teams to even bother now anyways. I'll be honest, I'd rather see a hard working team that competes and gets a couple more playoff appearances for Wade these next 2 seasons, than a bunch of bums that shouldn't be in the NBA leading us to the lottery (that said, how hard we're competing is also debateable, some of these losses have been really discouraging).

Also, something I've been wanting to say for a while, people on here have a really warped idea of how player development works, like playing a guy more minutes works like a video game, where his attributes automatically "level up" after a set amount of time, and they always magically get better. That is NOT how it works. The truth is, most young guys are like James Ennis or Shabazz Napier, or Daequan Cook, or Mario Chalmers, or Michael Beasley, or Wayne Simien, or... well you get the idea, point is, they never get it, no matter how many minutes they get or what kind of opportunity they're given. Guys like Whiteside, that's more a case of extreme talent that learned to put their head on right, not force feeding of minutes causing growth.

So please stop with this false sense of, "if this guy plays more, he'll learn!", they're learning plenty whether they're on the practice court or in games, and the only guy that's proven anything so far this year, Hassan, IS being given the minutes.

Came home from my night class around 10:40 PM. I logged in and saw the number of pages this thread had. I knew at that point that **** went down in this game.

And sure enough it was ****. Saw plenty of vines of that last miserable possession.

smh Wade. Apparently, it was because he was being heckled by fans about his age.

Game6, Maroko; I see where you guys are coming from but it is what it is. We're not tanking. And you're not GMs. You gotta deal with it. We'll probably rebuild after Wade is gone.

I still don't get why Wade stopped going to the post during the second half. He's a monster down there and if a double comes, he can kick it out. Spo benched him and it all went to **** after that.

My goodness he was cooking on the left block.

wade always goes to hero mode in the 2nd half.

It works about 10% of the time.

But that's when we came back in the game. Early 4th quarter he just kept going to the post and created for himself and everyone else. But after that...

Very, very, very disappointing.

Only Ennis impressed.

Williams and Wade okay.

Rio and Bazz poor.
