If Bucks want to go that route, sign Ray Allen for the playoffs and it won't cost us anything.

If Riley is going to follow the example of Danny Ainge and sell on Wade while he can, I'm not sure how badly he'd want to pick up Brandon Knight right before he might get overpaid in free agency.

Conversely, I could see Lasry wanting Wade because he thinks he'd be great for Brandon Knight's development in particular.

I don't think Riley would hang up the phone if we offered Middleton / Henson / LAC pick / Mayo.

Whether it would be a protected 1st from us might end up a sticking point though.

I highly doubt the heat trade wade. I think there was an under the table deal this past summer where he opted put if his contract in exchange for a promise of a future job with the org.

Now if they would actually trade him I think they could find a better package than the bucks would offer.

"Knight for Exum", would be so much sweeter but that might upset some people.

No idea what thread to put this in, but Bucks just hired a guy to scout D-league.

Might add a note of plausibility to their statement that they might add a player. Later.

Also adds a note of surprise that that isn't already covered. May be a matter of how strong they now wish to cover it.

The "Entertain Me!" in the root of my brainstem (same place the notorious movie plant had the "Feed Me!" demand) has been keeping fingers crossed for a trade to fill out the roster and improve talent with more young talent. Maybe the New Era Bucks are more patient than I am. Willing to let this season be whatever it's going to be, without rushing in reinforcements. Good for them. Even if it means that 1/3 or more of the games will have big chunks that tend to bore me.

I bet even Ann Curry can shoot it.

I'll be stunned if Seth doesn't at least land a ten dayer this year.

Trade Targets

Post#2797 » by Giannis Parker » Thu Jan 22, 2015 9:39 pm

They did not have a specific person just scouting the D-League, that duty was performed by the scouting department. Kohl was a cheap owner guys, not sure why this surprises you, and considering the timetable of 10-day contracts, LED likely interviewed many candidates for this role.

It would be great if we bought a D-League team.

It won't be long, I'm sure Seth Curry will be getting a 10-Day contract soon, unfortunately I don't think the Bucks have a roster spot available now that they re-signed KMart. I would have liked to see another Curry in a Bucks uniform. I still remember Dell's sweet shot.
