Dorsey played like Dwight should have played.

And putting in Harden in that 4th probably wouldn't have changed the outcome. Kerr, as he did would have just put in Curry/Klay to close the game. Good run by our bench though...

something is extremely not right when we can take out a fully healthy memphis team in 3 quarters, getting the lead to 26 points, with tarik black, with garcia, nick johnson, dorsey, and pap, but we get blown out vs new orleans and lose to a bottom dweller magic team with dwight, smith, and pat.

Their efforts were definitely there and the team could definitely recreate that if properly guided but the way they play their D earlier part of the season weren't sustainable, we need a smart defensive game plan where guys won't tire themselves out which could lead to being lackadasical in offensive end as well.

I know D-Mo had an off night, and I probably say this every game, but why does Dwight get twice as many looks at D-Mo in the post? All I see from him is losing the ball, charges, awkward looking shots, and no touch around the rim. D-Mo had an off game, but he actually PASSES out of double teams and overall has been superior down low.

Also, I haven't really decided if Josh Smith is that beneficial to us? I mean I guess we're kinda desperate for someone to fill the void since we gave away Tarik Black, but I don't know if I'd want him for more then 15-20 MPG when T-Jones gets back.

Assuming everyone healthy, here's how I would want to distribute the minutes

PG - Beverley (28) Canaan (16) Terry (4)
SG - Harden (38) Terry (6) Brewer (4)
SF - Ariza (32) Brewer (16)
PF - Jones (28) Smith (14) D-Mo (6)
C - Dwight (34) D-Mo (14)

That would be a pretty solid rotation. But alas, due to stupidity and political reasons I'm sure Josh Smith will get more minutes than he should, and Canaan will be buried on the bench or be featured in Rio Grande Valley.

The Warriors were basically the same team under Mark Jackson and have been much better under Steve Kerr.

Jackson very much reminds me of McHale... thank goodness he got an extension.

Well we beat Portland 3-1 in the regular season last year which gave us home court advantage and we still lost to them in the playoffs. So even if we meet GSW in the first or second round there is some hope.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

The part that kills me is not only that Tarik was REALLY GOOD for us, but also that Smith has been REALLY BAD.

*sigh*

At least I said the same thing when we got Lowry, only to see him improve massively.
So, there's that. Maybe. Fingers... crossed....

Tarik is only already leading the Lakers in WP48
http://www.boxscoregeeks.com/teams/lal
15.2 PTS/36, 10.4 RP/36, on .667 TS%.

Funny thing is: the Lakers are 1-6 since he joined, after going 11-24 before, their average opponent win% has gone from .569 to .515, and their PDIFF has gone from -6.057 to -11.83.
No way did an 18mpg backup make them twice as bad as they were, but interesting all the same.

A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

Agreed and I think the Rockets swept San Antonio last season or something close and yet they won the trophy.
