Poll aboard.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

They haven't been playing well enough or winning enough for long enough to deserve spots. If they sustain their recent play the rest of the season and next year then yes.

Not this year. The numbers aren't there, and both have had at least ten total stinker games to keep their overall numbers down. Also, we aren't winning enough yet.

Next year for Drummond... next in a long run of years, probably.

Jennings, maybe never, but there's definitely hope, something I wouldn't have said a month ago.

I think Drummond should but there's too many good guards for Jennings to get in.

drummonds an all star. the dudes getting robbed a spot. its a joke. he is clearly top 10 player in the league. if he wasnt then how did we just go 12-3 over the last 15 games?

No. If we'd played like this from the start of the year and were above .500 then a strong case could be made that we deserved at least 1 All-Star, regardless of who it might be. But our record is crap and neither guy has the history/resume to overcome that.

he is a top 10 player. once he starts hitting his free throws and lowers his fouls, he will be top 5 player in the league

All-stars don't have extended slumps the way Jennings and Drummond have

Most of us here like to pretend that the Josh Smith era never existed and in that world either Jennings or Drummond or Monroe could be an all star. Unfortunately the 5-23 start happened and Jennings and Drummond have been inconsistent all season.
Maybe next year.

Na, unfortunately we started this streak a little late in the season.

I vote we get rid of fan votes... it's all biased... the coaches should vote without voting for their own players

Absolutely not, we started 5-25.

Next year is our first shot at Monroe & Drum being All Stars.

& I say this as a HUGE Drumroe fan as most of u know.

I say no to everyone on the team they have to be waayy more consistent then they currently are. Can't come out one night and have 20 and 10 and the next and shoot 38% and be a allstar until they are consistent no way.

I doubt that either will make it, although I could see one of them getting picked to fill in for an injured player (like dwyane wade)
