JV is horrible but as I've said before we won't fire him mid season, it's just not in the magics nature to do something like that. At this point just let him tank is to the highest possible pick and fire him the day after the season ends.

I hate for a man to lose his job in general that what put food on the table and clothes on backs but man, i think JV should be gone. He played his part he showed us the friendly side of basketball to our players. Now we need a coach that's going to beat the basic and advanced principles into them. I'm talking suicides, 3 hr practices the whole nine we need a hard nosed coach in here now someone a bit more aggressive. We should be a lot better than we are, part of it is on the players most of it is on the coaching.....we're talented enough to be right in the mix for that 7th and 8th seed. The problem is that gap between where the players roles end and the coaches roles begin if that makes any sense. I think the bridge between them is lost/broken, don't think the players want to play their hearts out for JV.

JV did not look to pleased in that interview. I questioned the players before. Is it JV or the players. And why are they not defending. Some trades might be in the works.

Don't feel too bad. Unlike the rest of us in the real world, when he gets fired he'll get the remainder of his contract paid in FULL.

Anyone think Vaughn was singling out Harris with that comment about intentions coming into the game and playing selfishly?

If changes are made then who are the keepers? This team has a losing attitude right now.

Good...perhaps we can get a couple of players that can actually hit their free throws.

Eff that the players sometime look as if they are trying to figure out what to do and how to change things up to make things better. The COACH should be doing that. What the hell do we have a whole staff of people there for if friggin Elf has to figure out a certain style of play is better to do, or players getting together and deciding to try certain sets. They feel they have no help in learning this game. The coach is at fault for that. BYE JV.

Tobias + fillers for Derrick Favors?

Utah's not touching that though with Hayward locked up at a max deal already

I think the FO will give JV the rest of the season and if we don't make the playoffs or get close to it then he's gone. Me personally fire him now get a new coach in here and have him get a head start implementing his philosophies. The players play the game but the coaches implement systems for them to be in the best positions to succeed, have our players been put in the best positions?

Haha perfectly said.

If anything.. I feel somewhat bad for Mike Malone. Paid his dues as an assistant, got a shot at HC and it seemed like the team was turning the corner and boom... They pull the plug because he doesn't want to be the guinea pig for the kings idiot owner.
