There was one timeout tonight where you could see JV rip into Harris coming off the court.

Can you name me the last time a team fired their coach midway through the year and then signed a respectable candidate DURING that same season?

Yep totally agree. Although the very first change that needs to happen is firing JV and hiring a good coach. No point in trading players if the new guys that come in are going to have Vaughn as their coach. Actually I think we need to fire him right now and bring someone in quickly so that we have a little while before the trade deadline to evaluate everyone playing under a real coach.

I said the same thing the other night. NOW is the time to get rid of this bum, and get someone new in and work out kinks in this sacrificed season. Then have all summer and SL and camp to work out kinks and go into next season ready to compete. I see no good from keeping him. It won't be good for their psyches, it won't be good for their growing their games, it won't be good for morale, it won't be good for anything that i can see. Please show me the advantages. There are NONE. BYE JV!!

Who's worst than us right now? Philly would spanks us right now, even the T-Wolves.

Not hard to read what he was putting down. Who else was out there jacking up missed shots and playing matador defense?

I agree with this because JV is not the answer. Unless Henny feels it's a few rotten apples then the change needs to happen now so we don't start another year with a new coach. But we need to bring in a permanent respectable coach. I still feel Mark Jackson is the man.
Everything going on in GS is because of Mark. He is the one that turned that team around.

I'm sure like most we were encouraged, but now looking at a larger sample it can be said that we won those games with good execution on a surprise strategy that the other teams weren't prepared for. We took advantage of that and if we played both those teams right now we would look like we have for the past 2 games.

OKC firing Carlesimo for Brooks who turned around OKC's rebuild.
06 Heat firing SVG and Pat taking over, coaching them to a championship that very year.

The problem with a game like tonight is -- Derek Fisher is also a bad rookie coach. So let's assume he and JV cancelled each other out coaching-wise. That's where I think you can't hold the players blameless for how bad this team is playing. As much as Vaughn sucks, the Knicks weren't coached any better tonight, but their players outplayed our players. The coaching is bad, but the players are also playing badly.

Brooks sucks. We don't have have a Pat Riley in our front office. What else you got?

In times past were there candidates like George Karl and Mike Malone in the wings and available? I'm not sure i am getting your point here.

At this stage, it might be worth firing him just so Aaron Gordon can get a lot more minutes and in game development. I think Vaughn would not want to do that because he is fighting for his job. But firing him and putting in a filler would allow that to happen.

Plus it would send a message to the players that what is going on is unacceptable.

He may be a bad X's and O's coach but his players (and most of the NBA circle) respect him. Not sure the same can be said for JV right now.

Since you're not paying attention, let me point out that I said "right now". Did you watch the game tonight?
