I will say, I don't recollect how much Ben was on Klay, but just a few weeks ago he was shooting over 40% from three and now its down to like 35%.. I don't know the point in which we have to worry about his progression, but I'll assume that he will start playing better

Klay was on sportscenter and he practically said something like "I don't know why they (kings/corbin) did not called a timeout during that run.. that's crazy..I guess they wanted me to have more touches" And I agree with him.

Why the hell Corbin didn't do anything to stop that crazy streak? I don't care if it would have worked or not. But then again, we are talking about a coach doesn't know when to intentionally foul...

Well....I been watchin' NBA since Cousy.. Never saw a qtr where a guy nails EVERY shot from ANY place. Which is why it broke some all time records. Sac was doing well for a half.. then... total OMG....are ya kdding?  Sac played one of their best halves then......the atom bomb goes off. :o

calling a timeout would just slow down our fast paced offense....

Unless the D got to use a canoe papple to block some shots.. there was just nothing gonna work. I was pretty stunned and I did not realize the guy never missed a shot in that quarter. Sac DID well early. Then.....got flat out smoked.

Most epic display I've seen. Guy was throwing up shots at rim and everything went in. Even the 26 footer after the foul call before end of quarter.

Corbin pathetic as ever. Make anyone else make a shot. Call a timeout. Guy was shellshocked. Losing Malone to replace with Ty is to much to bear. Guy is in over his head. So sad considering what promise we had early to where we are at now.

I don't mind losing but holy **** why the hell do we decide its a good idea to match up our lineup with GS? Its just absolutely moronic. At least with Thompson in the lineup we can try to change the flow of the game rather than just conforming to their style of play. Newsflash - we're not going to out Warrior the Warriors.

Wolfay wrote:I think GSW shoots too many jumpers to go deep in the playoffs. It's a regular season gimmick. You gotta have a post game, and GSW doesn't have one outside of Bogut, and who knows if he can stay healthy long enough, and history says hell no to that happening. Who was the last team to win it all with their talent concentrated in the backcourt?

In every other area they're clear contenders though.

I tend to agree with this. The two caveat in my mind being that (1) this might be the greatest shooting team of all time and (2) these sort of teams usually don't play this level of defense. Aesthetically the Warriors are just amazing to watch. If Bogut stays healthy his play-making ability and decent post-game can possibly give them the versatility they need to go far. Then again, they could be bounced out in the first round against OKC. The West is just crazy like that.

Kings2013 wrote:Cousins - bad body language, bad field goal % over the last stretch and turnovers, to me still not healthy from the illness

We can't just blame the illness forever. Cousins had a good game but we've lost our identity as a pound-it-in-slow-it-down team that has lead to his semi-regression more than anything.

100% pathetic. If I am Cousins right now, all I'm thinking is how much I regret signing an extension. As of right now, this team is pathetic in every facet, mainly coaching. Corbin is a absolute joke. If this doesn't change after this year... I don't know how much longer I can withstand this. Klay goes bonkers and drains absurd shots and not once does this joker do anything. No doubles, no timeout, no coaching. I rather the ownership group go to the league and say, "We are just gonna forfeit the rest of the year" then watch this garbage. I can go on for days about this but whatever.

i would not dump it on Corbin. Hell... give Klay a breather and it might help him... TO's ain't 10 minutes.
I think the Defense coach may be tossing his notebook in the dumpster...and getting drunk..after that.

In Theory....it's always " possible" that in a quarter a guy makes EVERY shot... but ...I never seen it happen on that scale.
