In regards to Drummond's rank as a center (or player overall):

He's not that high yet. There aren't many centers I'd want in place of him, given his potential, but that's not the same as how good he's been this year overall. This is a far from perfect stat to do this with, but...

Centers by PER has Drummond 11th, although two of the guys ahead of him haven't played enough or don't play enough minutes to take them too seriously (Whiteside and Speights).

Centers by EWA (Estimated Wins Added) has Drummond 8th, which sounds about right. His minutes are down from last year, though, and if he was playing at this level with last year's minutes he'd be 5th.
