Meanwhile in the East...

Why feel bad for teams that have fan bases that truly despise our team? Screw them for all I care.

I'm not feeling bad for any teams, I am sympathising with players who may have been overlooked because of the popularity contest that is All Star Weekend. You do realise that All Star weekend means nothing to our regular season / playoff results? All star weekend is not about the Clippers, it's about players getting rewarded for putting in the hard work. Why wish negative thoughts upon people when it has nothing to do with us competing for a chip? I guess I don't like to stoop to the low levels of those "fans who despise us" and try to be a good sport.

I can never be a sport to people who don't show sportsmanship to us. They hate us, I'll hate them back even more.

That's why you show sportsmanship to them and make them look like the ****.

Jeremy Lin is certainly a much more popular figure globally.

Melo and Kobe starting is bad, but other than that the fan voting turned out good this year.

i don't know about globally, but surely for Chinese/Taiwanese population he is as good as god. I am certain not a soul from Japan cares there is an asian guy in NBA as long as he isn't Japanese or JapaneseAmerican.

but hey, there are more than 3 Chinese per one American so it's no contest when they are voting in Jeremy. Im sure Adam Silver has no problem fitting in any undeserving player into all-star as long as he knows NBA is making money from it. and too bad Pete Rose still can't get into HOF... what a laugher this league has become now the commish himself wants to legalize gambling.

look out LV, there will be an NBA team after all, might as well call them Las Vegas Capones.

Ya that's what I meant when I said globally - he's obviously going to get an entire country worth of votes.

That's the spirit.

Is Klay an all star?
Maybe.

The answer I'm giving outside of this Clipper forum?
"If he didn't get voted in by the players or coaches, I guess not."

like they wouldn't throw a miniature party on the General Discussion if CP3 didn't get voted in by the coaches.
yea right.

I guess I'm big enough that being hated by another team's fans doesn't bother me. Unless a player is a dick of a human being, then (besides the nba season/playoffs) I wish them the best, including olympics/ all stars.
