Defense is starting to look suspect. Seems to be a combination of guys not moving their feet to help and guards not able to stop penetration. Maybe they improve on this but seems to be going the other way for whatever reason.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I thought Showalter came in and did a great job last night.

Almost choked, but didn't. We looked the part of a great team when we started that overtime though. Straight for the throat.

Showalter was OK last night. Which makes it his best game ever.

Mi lost to NJIT at home when Levert was still playing. Wisconsin has just been too inconsistent for my tastes. MI and Rutgers have been nightmare games against subpar teams. But they completely dismantled Iowa in between. Usually Bo's teams are far more consistent.

Michigan also pushed Villanova to the brink. You can't expect blowout after blowout.

Wisconsin also beat UWGB, who beat Miami, who beat Duke which means we beat Duke.

Sometimes it just comes down to hitting your shots. I turned on the game in the second half with Wisconsin ahead by eleven pts. The Badgers then proceeded to miss open shot after open shot. Not just threes either....Hayes was missing wide open ten-twelve footers. And Michigan, naturally, went on a tear hitting shot after shot, many of them from the outside.
In short, for a while it looked like the Badgers were going to blow Michigan out. Didn't happen. That's basketball.

How often do road teams in the Big Ten win by 10+?

It's probably not higher than 15% of the time. I'm just guessing though. Any road win in conference play is a good win in my book.

Dekker being assertive today. He's looked more aggressive whenever Koenig sits.

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

Crazy first half, they shot 65% and are down by 6. Iowa can't feel great about that.

Dekker needs to slow his roll with shooting some of these 3's. He's not that good of a shooter. Dukan has returned to being totally useless. If he isn't hitting the wide open 3's, then he is a massive negative out there because he cannot defend at all.

And how are the badgers 7th in ppg allowed. Their defense has looked suspect

This is when we need to be feeding Kaminsky the ball on the block every possession. Not happy with the way we're playing these last few minutes.

There's some winner sitting court side complaining about literally everything. Even when the refs do call a foul in Iowa's favor, he stills stands up and yells.

I don't think you can overstate enough how much Kaminsky is carrying this team. The other guys take turns playing well at times but this is probably not even a top 25 team without Frank.
