DJ is underrated, but Raptors are not a very good team right now, they are playing like a .500 team in the past 15 games or so. Good effort for a back to back without Jennings though.

Outside of SVG making the same losing-non-defensive mistake by playing Tolliver over Drummond( :nonono: ) at the end of the game, we played a decent game tonight. Shout out to Augistine, good competitive game .

I'm still waiting on that Wilson Chandler trade though.

First my guy Smith leaves and now my young dude Jennings gets injuried. I don't even expect Jennings to come back until Jan-Feb 2016. Damn, this hurts my feelings man!

You're literally the only one in this state where Smith leaving wasn't good news. Absolutely baffling.

Hey man, I was 1 out of 3 people here who liked Smith and I'm also 1 out of 4 people here who always rooted for Jennings. I'm not changing for nobody man, even if I'm with the minority.

And I'm not from Michigan. 8-)

You're not from Michigan? That explains the username because you'd have to be fron Neptune to watch Josh Smith play basketball and actually enjoy the experience. The other few people that died a miserable death on the Josh Smith hill did it moreso to spite those who supported the Drumroe pairing. But you legitimately like watching that bum play basketball? I don't know what to say.

Unprepared. Looked indecisive, hesitant and not comfortable.

Basically like any rookie would who's only logged about 20 minutes total this season.

I was at the game and it wasn't the worst thing to watch. Going down double digits i thought it was going to get blown out, but the boys fought their way back in.
The 2 things that disappointed me were Drummonds defense and our wing scoring.
Drummond shouldn't get beaten so much with his size and athleticism. He doesn't look comfortable on D.
Singler, KCP, Meeks and Tolliver had a lot of good looks and couldn't get much to fall. It's hard to watch guys bust their a$$es to get the game close only to have so many missed open looks.
I understand every team has their off nights, but when it goes down to the wire like that, it really stings.

It's interesting how quickly things can change. Two or three months ago, and people would be indifferent at best towards Jennings' injury. Now, we feel like it effectively ended our season.

Seems like it was a honorable loss. I just couldn`t watch the game though. The Jennings injury took all my excitement & fun out of me. I feel like I can`t watch games for awhile. :noway:

We're in a tough situation. Not enough talent at the PG spot to make the playoffs (IMO), but too far away from a high draft pick.

I'm hoping Augustin can prove me wrong, but he doesn't have 1/10th of the court vision Jennings has. He does penetrate and kick well, but that success is contingent on guys like Meeks and Tolliver knocking down shots from deep.

We REALLY need Meeks to turn it on. if he can get into the swing of things, I think we can make another run.

In order for us to be even remotely successful, our guards have to shoot better. KCP and Meeks have to step it up and make their shots. Otherwise, it falls too much weight on Drumroe and or DJ. Jennings was basically carrying us when Drummon or Monroe are having an off night while our guards struggled.

Also, having an actual starting SF would be helpful too.

I saw a lot of complaining about KCP, both offensively and defensively, so I guess SVG is kind of an idiot because he's the only Piston to log more than 40 minutes, and played 6 more minutes than even DJ. Under the heading of "lies, da*n lies, and statistics, the box reveals that DJ has a +/- of -3, while Meeks shot 2-14 scoring 9 pts and had a +/- of +10.

Can't argue with a thing Heisenberg said about Dinwiddie, other than to note that he looked better in the second half.

Team needs to find its defensive intensity. Drummond deserved to play 27 minutes. His lack of attention and effort on defense were offensive. It's all the more galling when you recall those games where the effort is there. He needs to bring it every night as the super garbage man and defensive anchor. Scoring is great, but it's not what the team really needs from him. When he works hard he get his points anyway. It wasn't Drummond alone that was the problem, of course.

It was so obvious what dinwiddie was gonna do. All of his movements looked pre determined. He'll get reps but I don't know if that'll be enough for him to be an effective backup this year.
